Company description Dive with Macclesfields Oldest, Most established diving organisation.
As a member of E.C.S.A.C. you will have collective ownership of our purpose built Clubhouse, three club boats, compressor and training equipment.
To join ECSAC you must be over 14 years of age, physically fit, and able to swim.
Train
All our training is carried out by nationally qaulified B.S.A.C. Instructors. Pool training takes place every Thursday evening over a period of about 8 weeks, at Macclesfield Leisure Centre from 19.30 h to 21.00 h. Novice, Club and Sports diving lectures are organised to coincide with the training process.
As a new diver you will receive comprehensive, all inclusive training up to the level of Dive Leader and beyond. B.S.A.C. standards are the highest in the world, with emphasis on safe diving practicies and rescue skills.
Twelve sets of modern training equipment are available for all pool training and initial open water dives.
Dive
For the qualified diver we offer a wide variety of interesting and exciting diving expeditions. These range from shallow scenic dives to more adventurous deeper wreck diving involving dive sites around the whole of the British Isles. We also run expeditions further afield to the Red Sea and beyond.
Divers qualified with other organisations e.g. PADI, NAUI, SAA can start diving immediately and transfer to B.S.A.C. grades is easy.
Training to Dive Leader Grade is included in your membership fee and the skills modules required to progress to Advanced Diver are available within the club.

Location description: The clubhouse was designed and built in 1991 by club members themselves and therefore contains every facility that an active diver could wish for. The club combines the excitement and adventure of diving with lively and varied social activities: Beach BBQs, Live Bands, Cabaret Nights, Discos, Quiz Nights, Treasures Hunts, Bonfire Parties, Race Nights, Theme Nights, New Years Eve are all in addition to regular Thursday Evening club nights.
The focus of social activites is the club bar and social room. The friendly social and family atmosphere naturally extends to the diving expeditions. This family atmosphere is futher enhanced by the Snorkelling section where the children of club members can join the underwater adventure prior to becoming divers themselves.
The large boat house on the ground floor holds a 5.5m Humber RIB, a 5.5m Delta Rib and a 5m Zodaic inflatable as well as a minibus. The minibus is used to tow one of the boats and up to eight people can travel together on dives trips. It is also used on club and social events. Incorporated within the boat house is the compressor facility, with an extensive air bank. The inclusive membership fee entitles you to fill your diving cylinders free of charge.
