Company description Planet Divers is a PADI diving club/school run by local divers. We provide scuba diving training to PADI standards, and arrange diving trips both locally and abroad for our 60+ members. We also have a very active social calendar.
Learn to dive with Planet Divers, an Eastbourne (East Sussex - South Coast) based PADI diving club providing its members with easy access to the underwater world.

We are here to promote the enjoyment of Scuba Diving and the memorable experiences that can be gained from it.
The Planet Divers diving club provides a safe and organized environment for its members to dive, attend PADI diver training courses, and generally enjoy the world of scuba diving.
Planet Divers holds regular meetings at the Aqua Club in Pevensey Bay, and as well as sub aqua oriented activities, also organizes various social events and diving holidays for its members. We are always looking to accept new members.
There are three Ways To Learn to Dive with Planet Divers
1. Book a Try Dive. If you are not sure if you will enjoy scuba diving, then the easiest (and cheapest !) way to find out is to have a try dive in the local swimming pool under the guidance of one of our instructors.

2. Open Water Referral. This is a very popular option for those who are learning to dive prior to going on a diving holiday abroad. All the theory and pool sessions are completed in the UK. The final open water dives are then completed at your chosen holiday destination. This means that you only spend a couple of days of your holiday `training` - the rest of the time can be spent diving with your friends as a qualified diver.
3. Full Open Water Course. With this option you complete the entire course with Planet Divers. We will take you from complete novice to a qualified Open Water Diver (and beyond if you wish).
Try Dives / PADI Discover Scuba Diving - £20
Ideal for those who want to `test the water` before committing to a course. Try out diving in the safe confines of a pool under the guidance of our friendly instructors.
PADI Open Water Diver Course - £299
The world-recognised entry level diving certification which allows you to dive to a depth of 18m (12m for Junior Open Water).

The course consists of home study, two classroom sessions, two pool sessions and four dives and can be completed in two weekends.
The pool sessions are held at the Sovereign Leisure Center, and the dives take place either in our Marina area or on a shore dive, weather permitting.
The price includes everything you need for the course: all equipment hire (even mask, fins and snorkel, although most people prefer to buy their own), all study materials (video, manual, log book inserts, dive tables), certification card.
PADI Open Water Referral - £199
Because the Open Water course is modular, it can be split into different components and completed at different PADI dive centres.

For example, if you don`t want to spend your holiday studying, you can do the classroom and pool sessions with club, and complete the four open water dives on holiday with another PADI dive center - just take your logbooks with you.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course - Prices below
Complete five Adventure Dives (including a Deep Dive and a Navigation Dive) and join the next level of diving - as an Advanced Open Water Diver you can dive to 30m anywhere in the world.

You have 3 options :-
Deep Dive, Wreck Dive, Drift Dive, Boat Dive, Navigation Dive. Can be done in one weekend. Consists of 4 dives from a charter boat and 1 dive from shore/in marina.
Price £310.
Deep Dive, Night Dive, Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive, Drysuit Dive, Navigation Dive. Can be done in one weekend or several evenings. Consists of 4 dives from shore/in marina and one charter boat dive.
Price £245.
Choose any 3 Adventure Dives from the manual (plus Deep and Navigation).

PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) - £120
You will need an approved First Aid qualification to complete the Rescue Diver course, so why not do the PADI Emergency First Response course ?

This valuable course deals with the administration of basic First Aid techniques including rescue breathing and CPR, and is one of the few first aid courses that includes the use of AED`s (Automatic External Defibrillators). What`s more, you don`t have to be a diver to do this course so the whole family can come along ! The course usually takes about 5-6 hours, and includes your manual, folder and a First Aid kit.
PADI Rescue Diver - £279
Learn emergency management and prevention, diver first aid, equipment problems and rescue techniques.

The skills, knowledge and techniques that you learn on this course will give you the expertise and confidence to handle allmost any emergency situation, whether on the shoreline or in the water.
PADI Divemaster - £350
The first step towards a professional dive career.
Learn advanced diving skills, how to supervise and lead groups of divers, comprehensive dive theory and assist with real courses to gain experience. The certification allows you to work anywhere in the world as a dive guide - ideal for travellers.
PADI Master Scuba Diver - £ FREE !!
The highest non professional PADI Diver Qualification.
Once you have your PADI Rescue Diver and 5 Specialty Certifications with us, we will apply for your Master Scuba Diver certification - the highest non-professional
qualification
PADI Specialty Courses - £ POA
Once you have gained 5 specialties and the Rescue Diver qualification, you can apply for the Master Scuba Diver qualification.
Choose from: Deep Diver (4 dives, certifies you to dive to 40m), Night Diver (3 dives), Wreck Diver (4 dives), Enriched Air Nitrox Diver (2 dives), Underwater Photographer (2 dives), Underwater Videographer (3 dives), Underwater Naturalist (2 dives), Boat Diver (2 dives), Drift Diver (2 dives), Drysuit Diver (2 dives), Peak Performance Buoyancy (2 dives).
PADI Scuba Tune Up - £ POA
Tune up your diving skills with this one-session refresher! If you haven`t been diving for a while, it`s strongly recommended you participate in a refresher before jumping into the open water on your holiday or during one of our local dives. (Some resort dive operators require it!).
The brief class session focuses on dive table planning skills and a discussion of dive safety. The pool session is designed for review & practice of basic diving skills, including buoyancy control, equipment removal & replacement, and entry/exit skills.
PADI Scuba Review - £45
Tune up your diving skills with this one-session refresher! If you haven`t been diving for a while, it`s strongly recommended you participate in a refresher before jumping into the open water on your holiday or during one of our local dives. (Some resort dive operators require it!).
