Company description Ocean Leisure, currently with two outlets in central London, was founded in 1981 and boasts a quarter of a century of excellent service to customers. Based in the very centre of London right next to Embankment underground, with over 8000 sq ft of floor space and 19 windows to the street, we are your one stop waterports store. We stock a vast range of watersports products including equipment and clothing for sailing, scuba diving, swimming, surfing and kayaking. Specialist staff include diving instructors, dinghy sailors and ocean yachtsmen. Currently we deal with over 250 suppliers.
In various departments in store can be found a huge range of wetsuits, sailing clothing, marine fashion and shoes, books, charts, boat accessories, marine electronics, diving equipment, underwater cameras, water skis, surfboards and canoes
Ocean Leisure has recently opened a brand new scuba diving centre right next to Stamford Brook underground station.
The state of the art complex includes a spectacular stainless steel swimming pool, new training equipment, classrooms and a fully equipped dive shop. Unique in London and having everything on site, courses can be arranged by Ocean Leisure more easily to suit the convenience of our customers.
We encourage you to visit our shops and to speak to us. We are not a faceless web based company. If you would like advice on any of our products or don`t see the item you are looking for please do call us and we will be happy to advise you. We are able to service the vast majority of scuba diving equipment, including regulators, BCD’s and computers.
Our training is run by Dive Solutions, a company we have selected due to their experience, professionalism and friendliness. Dive Solutions is a 5 Star PADI IDC centre offering all courses from beginner to instructor.
All training is conducted on site. We have large comfortable classrooms, changing facilities and a beautiful heated Pool with all necessary equipment . Dive Solutions also run numerous trips both in the UK and abroad.
Location description: Swimming in our pool is a warm and comfortable experience, and is highly endorsed by current users, including mother and baby swimming groups.
The water is spotlessly clean and is normally heated to a luxurious 33 degrees. Thanks to a new electronic chlorination system our water feels softer and kinder to the skin and eyes, compared to most heavily chlorinated London public pools.
Our pool is available year round for private and corporate hire, and is ideally suited to groups of 12 -15 people.
