Company description Our aim is to provide the holiday package you want at the best price we can. If that means that we sell someone elses package, we will. We act as an agent for most of the major diving holiday companies as well as the major tour operators and some independent operators too. There are no hidden elements to a Divetours holiday. We don`t charge more than airlines, hotels, liveaboards or dive centres would charge you themselves and in many cases we charge less. Your invoice even shows you what each bit costs.
We have travelled all over the world and dived every ocean. We have come together from all walks of life, from diverse backgrounds such as IT, advertising, finance and business consultancy.
We have worked in various capacities within the diving industry and have been asked on many occasions where the best diving can be found.
The answer is not any one particular place. Every location has something to offer, be it marine life, topography, coral formations, wrecks or drift diving. Some locations are geared towards the experienced and some lean more towards being great places to learn, Some have the added attraction of their cultural surroundings.
We work in partnership with our featured dive centres in order to be confident in offering the best.
We only work with affiliated centres, who have met the stringent guidelines laid down by recognised diving associations. We ensure that dive centres, ground handling agents and their staff offer all holiday assistance and understand our client`s needs.
We believe that divers and their families are looking for something a little different, dive centres that make their visitors feel at home.
We are committed to conserving our world. We ask you to do the same. Coral reefs are under intense pressure from pollution, over-fishing and pillage. You can help to minimise the impact from the diving community by not touching or purchasing any corals or marine life. In some countries it is a criminal offence. Please check that you are correctly weighted and maintain good buoyancy at all times, especially if taking photographs. Avoid feeding the fish as they have a tendency to become reliant upon it. Finally, please support conservation organisations as with your and our help they can protect the environment that we all want to share.
All divers except beginners must produce internationally recognised proof of qualification. You may be requested to undertake an orientation dive subject to logbook verification. Most locations also require proof of fitness to dive. Please ensure that you have a current medical certificate. If you have any doubt, please confirm local regulations or we can arrange a medical examination for you. We cannot accept any responsibility if you are refused any diving due to the fact that you do not have any of these items or they are incorrect. No refund will be given for unused dive packages or courses. Check here for medical requirements.
There are various options for you to consider in order to start your diving experience. From one day introductions up to the full 5 day Open Water Course, there is a course and a timescale to suit you.
We can offer PADI courses at most of our destinations. Please enquire for the availablity of BSAC, CMAS and SSI courses.
Completion of an Open Water course provides you with the certification to participate in most diving activities during future holidays after a little orientation. The course consists of academic, confined and open water sessions over a period of 4 to 5 days.
A popular method of learning is to take the academic and swimming pool sessions in the UK which can then be referred to a school overseas where you would only have to complete 4 open water sessions.
We can assist you to find a training facility near where you live. Course prices include use of equipment. Some centres charge locally for course materials.
Location description: We have chosen our destinations and dive centres for offering more than just a place to dive. Our locations are all a little bit different and offer a cultural experience as well as an aquatic one. We place a priority on friendly service, excellent diving and choice accommodation. We feel that our diving partners go that extra fathom!
Due to the flexibility of being able to source any flight option, we can tailor any package to your specific requirements. We aim to give you a full quotation within 24 hours.
All our destinations have optional accommodation, cultural excursions and dive packages. We are able to create the right combination for you.

The Sea of Cortez has become a popular destination for British divers due to the extraordinary variety of large pelagic species that visit these waters at various times of the year, especially whalesharks which you can spend time researching in conjunction with the Whaleshark Research Institute on a special trip during the whole of September.
Both the Galapagos and Cocos Islands offer fantastic liveaboard trips. The Galapagos are synonymous with Charles Darwin and afford the opportunity to make your own mind up on the origin of species, both above and below the surface.
