Company description Bay Marine was established in November 2003. Within the leisure sector we provide diving from our vessel when not under contract commercially.
The services we provide to the commercial sector are dealing with the charter of `Redeemer` for Hydrographical Surveying, Offshore Windfarms, Marine Civil Engineering, Diving, Personnel Transfer, Water Sampling, Environmental Impact Studies, Ornithology Studies, News & Event Coverage, Filming Support, Marine Biology Studies, Safety Boat.
`Redeemer` was chartered as a press boat by Ocean Challenges for the return of Ellen Macarthur when she crossed the finishing line, along with our 5.85 Mtr RIB. We have been chartered for the delpoyment and monitoring of a wave sensor within Falmouth Bay, prior to us installing it on the North Coast.
Lately `Redeemer` has been undertaking accoustic sea trials for one of the UK`s largest defence companies, the trials were to test a system which enables ROV`s and submarines to be detected.
Licensed under MECAL Category 2, Redeemer is able to operate up to 60 miles from any safe haven. A full stability book is also available on request.
The vessel can be chartered for ROV work and we can also produce an ROV along with the vessel for such things as: surveying of ships hulls, reservoir investigations, filming of your own personal dives, cable and pipeline inspections, marine archeology, pre-salvage inspections, pontoon and mooring inspections, filmwork, insurance surveys, search and recovery for items up to 25 Kg, search and locate larger objects for a diver or grab recovery.
The advantage of using an ROV is that you can personally see the results on it`s monitor on board `Redeemer`, as well as having a DVD copy for your records and future reference.
We have 5.85 Mtr rib for hire, which is coded to Cat 4. It is able to carry 6 persons and can be hired on a hourly basis as well as daily hire.
It is ideal for inshore water work, and is available as part of a hire package with our other vessel `Redeemer` or on it`s own.
Redeemer is equipped with an 02 Resus Kit and both skipper and crew are qualified to administer 02.
We are suppliers of deck and engine spares and equipment we also supply Solas approved safety equipment, from a lifevest to a liferaft, along with the above we supply fresh provisions and bonded stores.
Situated close to Falmouth Docks, we greet the ships on arrival and tailor to all your needs while in dry dock or alongside for repairs.
Location description: Bay Marine currently takes divers out to various wrecks around the Cornish coast. Although based in Falmouth, we are able to travel to Plymouth and also to the North Coast and surrounding areas if required.
Although in the South West we are able to travel anywhere that is required. `Redeemer` is also available for road transport for a quicker mobilisation if necessary.
Wind farms, Redeemer has a detachable bumper bar and landing platform which attaches to the bow, this makes it easy to place personnel on to the turbine towers, with the vessel being twin screw it also makes it very manoeuvrable and highly effective in connecting with the towers.
Everyone is welcome aboard, families, disabled and corporate parties. Whether your a novice or an experienced diver your needs will be catered for.
