Company description Our boats are ideally suited for use as dive charter boats. We currently have two boats from which to dive:
*The Peregrine: 44 foot Aquastar M.C.A. - 60 miles - 12 divers - top speed 24knots. The Peregrine is the slightly bigger of the two Aquastars that we own. It can accommodate 12 divers and 2 crew within the cabin areas.
*The Brendan: 38 foot Aquastar M.C.A. - 60 miles - 12 divers - top speed 17knots.
The Brendan is the slightly smaller of the two, although the space within the cabin area is larger.
The Brendan and Peregrine have :
•A large comfortable heated main cabin with soft seating for all. The cabin has a colour TV, compact disc player, radio and tape recorder for your enjoyment on longer trips. The Peregrine has a video recorder.
•A forward cabin with enclosed toilet and cooker. Extra soft seating is available in this cabin which comfortably sleeps two people. Endless cups of tea, coffee and biscuits are supplied at no extra charge.
•The cockpits have all the latest nav.aids including GPS, chart plotter, radar, colour sounder and VHF. They also have a telephone and public announcement system.
The skippers of these boats are local men with many years experience of the Sound of Mull and adjacent waters.
The boats are moored in Lochaline which is one of the most popular dive locations in Scotland. If you require Nitrox your empty tanks will be picked up and taken to the Lochaline Dive Centre. Spares and other accessories are also available from the dive centre, which also provides accommodation for up to thirty-two divers. Both boats have a compressor which will fill two bottles in 10 minutes.
We realise that the enjoyment of a diving trip is dependent on many factors, not least the efforts of the skipper. When you come aboard our boats you can be assured that no effort will be spared ensuring that not only your dive, but your trip is most enjoyable.
A comprehensive toolkit, a first aid box and oxygen are carried on board. We would be able to pick up parties from Lochaline, Oban or Tobermory. Excellent accommodation can be arranged at bargain rates.
The range of The Brendan and Peregrine enables divers to reach wrecks not only in the Sound of Mull, but Coll, Tiree and the Inner Hebrides. The rarely dived wrecks near Skerryvore Lighthouse and McKenzie Rock (The Labrador) are within range. There are also excellent dives in such isolated spots as Bo Fascadale and Heisker Lighthouse. The scenic dives in the Inner Hebrides are as good as, if not better than anywhere in Britain with average visibility in excess of 15m.
The Peregrine with its compressor is ideally suited to dive out of remote places like the North of Skye, Outer Hebrides etc. where the divers can stay in holiday accommodation near the dive site at these locations. This has become increasingly popular for divers who enjoy the comfort of ``home`` and experience diving at sites which are rarelly if ever dived.
We would advise anyone to book early, especially during holidays, as these dates tend to go quickly.
Location description: Based in the sound of Mull midway between Oban and Tobermory. The Sound of Mull and the Western Isles of Scotland have arguably the most enjoyable dive sites in Britain. They certainly have the remotest of wrecks and the scenery is second to none.

*Sgeir Gradigh

Depth 5m - 45m
Most divers consider this to be the best dive in Britain . A kaleidoscope of colour which is full of sea life.
*Tapti
Distance From Lochaline - 2 Hours
150m Wreck.
Depth 15m - 25m
The Tapti sits scattered on a white sandy bottom. The diving visibility is usually excellent. A scenic wreck which is good for photographs.
*Labrador
Distance From Lochaline - 4 Hours
Depth 15m - 28m
Large wreck broken in two. Rarely dived due to remote location. This must be dived during calm weather.
*Hispania
Distance From Lochaline - 30mins
Depth 18m - 30m
Colourful intact wreck that must be dived during slack water. Probably the best dive in the Sound of Mull and Oban area.
*Thesis
Distance From Lochaline - 15mins
Depth 18m - 30m
Colourful wreck. Easy to enter and exit. Must be dived during flood tide.
*Calve Island
Distance From Lochaline - 40mins
Depth 12m - 40m
All with an abundance of colour and sea life.
*Bo Fascadale & Elizabeth Rock
Distance From Lochaline - 2 Hours
Depth 10m - 80m
Sheer wall similar to Calve island with more sealife.
*Heisker Light House
Distance From Lochaline - 3 Hours
Depth 15m
Underwater Cave - 15m & wreck (probably Anna Moore).
*Rondo
Distance From Lochaline - 15mins
Depth 6m - 50m
Large wreck at angle of about 60degrees. Excellent swim through at 25m. Its unique position pointing bow down, makes this a very interesting dive. Should not be dived during flood tide.
*Shuna
Distance From Lochaline - 15 mins
Depth 20m - 33m
Very intact Wreck. The propeller is outstanding. It can be dived at any state of tide.
*Breda
Distance From Lochaline - 1 Hours
Depth 15m - 30m
Large intact Wreck. Probably the most dived wreck in Scotland. So advisable to arrive early morning or late afternoon.
*Pennygowan Quary
Distance From Lochaline - 10mins
Depth 20m - 60m
Vertical Cliff. Much sea life with plenty of scallop on top of cliff.
