Company description The skipper is Rod Thompson who is a well known local diver. The sea has been a big part in the family history with his Grandfather serving aboard a ship during the evacuation of the Dardanelle`s in the Black Sea during the 1st world war. And his Father being a Submariner who served aboard the P555 during the 1940/45 war. Which was sunk as a sonar target south west of Portland. As an engineer working for the Navy at Portland Naval base Rod had the sad job of closing down the fuel line’s that had filled the great ships’ of the Royal Navy
Rod has dived many of the wrecks around the Isle of Portland and so is able to take you to the many varied wrecks and reefs around this beautiful Isle.
The sea bed is littered with many fine Wrecks from centuries of Maritime history, so whatever your ability from Novice to Techi you will find a site that suits you. So come along and experience the hospitality and great diving aboard OUT-RAGE of Weymouth
Out-Rage is a brand new Blythe Catamaran that was launched in March, being a catamaran it has all the room you could want couple that to stability and speed you have it all.
She is fitted with rear diver lift that will lift without any strain (vital for safety after a long dive) back on board, a marine toilet a wheelhouse with plenty of room for all.
She will cruise at 17knts so no more 3hr plods to the offshore wrecks, add to this a skipper that will welcome you aboard.
When you choose to dive from Out-Rage you can be assured that you will be well looked after, no middle men putting divers on boats on commission basis!!!.

Angling:
``Out-rage was booked by Rob Higgins for a Plaice trip on the famous Shambles Bank. Rob had greeted me the prior evening as we returned to our berth with a happy group and a good Plaice (see next article below. This set everyone`s hopes high but left me with a tough act to follow, to top a 6lb Plaice.
With the tide just slack huge baits were dropped over in the hope of big Plaice.
If you want big flatties there is only the famous Shambles Bank out from Weymouth, other areas have good marks but for big fish you can`t beat the bank.
With a steady run of small Plaice coming to the net and being returned Steve`s rod arched over and he was into a good fish cries of Turbot rang out but after a good tussle i netted a Plaice of around 6/7 lb a real beauty. Steve could not stop smiling. The fish was kept cool for the remaining time and was weighed when we got back ashore. The fish weighed 6lb 11 3/4 oz. The best ever on Out-Rage and the best this year in Weymouth and the best Steve has ever had.
Over the Easter weekend we had managed to catch 4 Plaice over 4lb, 2 Plaice over 5 and 2 Plaice over 6lb. That`s out-Rage and the famous Shambles Bank.
