We offer PADI and SSI courses such as:
Trial Dives
Try Scuba is an orientation to diving that allows non-divers to experience diving in a pool or open water, under the direct supervision of a dive leader, with a minimal amount of instruction and classroom time
So you can start diving as soon as possible, you`ll practice a reduced skill set with SSI`s Comfort Through Repetition teaching method in a pool/confined water session.
Passport Diver
The Passport Diver Program takes dive training to a new level of convenience and accessibility for first-time divers by focusing on just the knowledge and skills required to dive proficiently under the direct supervision of a dive leader. And your Passport will continue to be recognised by any participating Passport facility as long as you log at least one dive every six months.
Open Water Diver
Diving offers a lifetime of exciting adventure and the ideal way to begin that adventure is with SSI`s Open Water Diver course. Under the guidance of a professional SSI Instructor, you will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to enjoy a lifetime of underwater exploration.
Speciality Courses
Nitrox Diver, Wreck Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Deep Diver, Diver Propulsion Vehicle Diver (DPV)
Speciality activities introduce certified divers to a whole new world of diving opportunities. Learning is easy. You can purchase SSI Speciality manuals and videos from your SSI Authorised Dealer. Then enrol in a speciality course, because it is recommended that you practice specialised scuba skills with an SSI Advanced Instructor.
Advanced Open Water Diver
Our Experience + Training formula is the ideal way to become an advanced diver. Training accelerates the learning process, and experience puts the training to practical use. To increase comfort and ability, it’s the most effective combination.
Becoming an Advanced Open Water Diver means that you are experienced, committed, and confident. You are a diver that knows what to do, and how to do it!
Skills Update Classes
In the Scuba Skills Update you will have the opportunity to practice and review the scuba skills you learned in your open water diver class and learn techniques that that may have changed since you took your class. You will have the opportunity to refresh your memory and motor co-ordination and practice your self-aid skills, all with the guidance of a dive leader.

Gildenbergh

The lake has been a developing sanctuary for fish and lush plant life since 1945 when the former brickwork’s closed down. In January 1985 Ian and Pauline Forster, the current owners, bought the lake and 30 acres of surrounding land and have developed a full range of ancillary facilities. With varying depths from 1m to 22m, it is considered by many divers to be the best diving centre in the country.
Stoney Cove
3 or 6 dives over the 1 or 2 days at the quarry with transport, admission and air included in the price.
Stoney Cove, Leicestershire - probably the most dived site in the UK is some 100 miles from Cheltenham. has been operating as a public dive training facility now since 1978. In the last 20 or so years, the facility has been given a nice new access road, has a new training building going up right now (due to open early in 2003) and has also had numerous attractions dropped in to the waters. Among the favourites are the Wessex helicopter, the Nautilus sub and the Stanegarth, a 1910 steam-powered tug boat. Future attractions will almost certainly be appearing, the first of which is likely to be a giant Buddha statue. We all look forward to seeing that one being dropped in!
Sharm-El-Sheikh Shore Based
Whether you are an avid diver, a beginner snorkeler or a desert adventurer, the Camel Club with its professional, multilingual staff and extensive facilities offers you a wide variety of services that will make your dream holiday come true.
Camel Hotel and Dive Club were one of the first dive operations to be established in Naama Bay back in the days when there was nothing but desert and sea. Now there is a fine new hotel and dive centre in the heart of what is now the centre of town. Carol Burrel now manages the dive centre and gives our guests that extra personal attention
The Camel Hotel offers 30 Superior rooms with terraces over looking the pool. All rooms are fully air conditioned with private bathrooms, telephone and voice mail. There are also standard rooms available with the same facilities but no terrace and a back view. There are several choices for dining including an A`la carte restaurant, Tandoori restaurant, internet café and oriental café; also the Roof top bar and Camel bar offer a wide range of snacks along with live music, an ideal spot for a post dive drink.
Camel Dive Centre runs daily dive boats to various sites within reach of Sharm such as Ras um Sid, Ras Mohammed (Marine Park), the Straits of Tiran and the world famous wreck of the Thistlegorm. All trips are run by Camels own experienced and professional instructors along with our own WJ Watersports staff who will accompany you on your holiday.
