Cyprus offers an almost infinite variety of dive sites, from calm, shallow shore dives to the drama of the Zenobia - one of the world`s top ten wreck dives. Conditions are consistently optimal, with summer visibility over thirty meters, and water temperatures ranging from 27 Celsius at the surface to around 22 Celsius at forty meters. Sealife includes lots of curious octopi, bright red fireworms, and a variety of nudibranchs. Also spotted are moray eels, starfish, jellyfish, and other familiar friends. The Zenobia is a cargo ferry nearly 200 meters long, which sank on her maiden voyage in 1980 and now lies in 17-42 meters of water, perfect for divers to enjoy! A three-dive package lets you see the ship to her fullest. SHEEP DIP - Once, farmers brought their sheep to this site to dunk them in the salt water, thereby ridding them of fleas and other parasites. Now, thankfully, the fleas are gone and the divers have arrived! Meander through seagrass and rock formations and search for octopus hiding amongst the stones. TUNNELS AND CAVES - One of our most exciting sites, with multiple tunnels to explore. All are in the light zone, which means you don`t need special cave diving training to enter - it`s a special experience open to any diver. GREEN BAY - A perfect training site, with calm conditions and good visibility, but interesting enough for experienced divers, too.
