Company description Viking Divers is one of the largest 5 Star P.A.D.I. dive centres island wide, we invite you for a non-obligatory visit and a personalized demonstration of what the centre has to offer. Being a fully equipped P.A.D.I 5 Star centre, incorporating the latest dive literature and multimedia teaching aids, we place dive education at you fingertips in our informal and relaxed classroom environment.
Considering the multilingual services provided from our Dive Centre (English, German, Swedish, Greek and Russian) there is no excuse for any would be adventure to not join us for an unforgettable diving experience. All activities are conducted under the competent supervision of our qualified instructors and dive masters who will ensure that you diving experience is a safe and memorable one.
Viking Diving center provides the following facilities :
Transportation from your hotel to the dive center and back.
Store room for your personal diving equipment
Class Room, Sitting room, Showers, Changing rooms, Air filling station,Air cylinders visual inspection , Equipment rental and services, retail shop and WATERSPORTS
For our guests we can arrange accomodation (from single bookings to big group or family`s) closest to the diving center and just a few metres from the beach. Also FREE of charge are sunbeds, pedal boats and canoes from our own Watersports. You also get 20% discount from the rest of the watersports facilities such as parasailing, jetbikes, watersking, banana rides, sailing,etc.
Viking divers organise half or full day guided dive excursions to Larnaca area by car or by boat. Boat dives to the Zenobia andHMS Cricket wrecks, Cyclopes caves and many other nice dive sites in Larnaca bay. Also, diving jeep safari to Aya Napa and the beautiful Cape Greco in Protaras. Special tailor made prices can be agreed for dive packages depending on the number of dives and dive sites. A diving certificate or log book is necessary to bring with you.
Location description: Cyprus has a great deal to offer the dive enthusiast:
a. The longest diving season in Europe.
b. The most exotic dive locations in the Eastern Mediterranean.
c. Calm seas and crystal clear waters.
d. A moderate climate all year round.
1. Zenobia Wreck (boat wreck dive)
One of the biggest wrecks in Mediterranean sea.
The Swedish ferry, fully loaded with trailers and trucks,
sunk in 1980 out off Larnaca`s fishing harbour.
2. Larnaca Bay Reefs (boat dives)
Many intersting reefs streching parallel to the shore at
7m to 13m. Easy boat dives with good visibility and a variety of fishes and octopus.
3.Helicopter Wreck.
Easy boat dive to the helicopter and a small boat wreck, sank 20 years ago, laying opposite the British Base at the depth of 15m.
4. Amphitheatre dive point.
The boat dive for beginers. Small caves and nice rock formation with depth of 8m.
5. Ormidia Fishing Harbour (shore dive)
Ideal location for introduction dives. From shallow water to 7m, full of marine life. An unforgetable experience.
6. Squid Nest Dive Point (shore dive)
Excellent location for night dives with maximum depth 13m.Marine life that you can not see on day dive can be seen during this night dive. A magical night world is waiting for you.
7. Squid Nest Reef (boat orshore dive)
Magnificent dive site in search of great Mediterranean grupper and squid, which are all around this place in season. Depth 17m.
8. Cricket Wreck (boat wreck dive)
A military war ship sunk in 1947. A deep wreck dive with top visibility
at a maximum depth of 32m.
9. Rangers (boat or shore dive)
Easy shore or boat dive ideal location even for the most experience Diver, reaching at depth of 18m.
10. Cyclopes Caves (boat dive)
The mystirious caves from Cyprus mythology says that the Cyclops used to stay in there. Caves with stalactites and a beautiful background for pictures.
11. Cyclops Caves Reef.
A deep dive for more experience divers with a lot of marine life, small caves, reaching the depth of 42m.
12. Canyon (shore dive)
The south side of Cape Greco is ideal for a wall dive, and features very extreme rock formation.
13. Caves (shore dive)
An easy shallow dive with maximum depth of 12m consisting of holes, tunnels and overhanging rocks.
14. Chapel Bay (shore dive)
Extreme dive from the base of the cliff. Easy access to the dive point. Depth from 9 to 40m.
