Company description Aqua Sport, the first scuba diving centre in the Middle East, began in 1960 on a quiet coral beach 6 km south of Eilat. Then it was a grass hut for shade, a simple air compressor and rudimentary diving equipment. Over the intervening decades, Aqua Sport developed into one of the world`s most respected diving organisations.
Aqua Sport`s Red Sea is fantastic in the diversity of its diving environment. Diving sites range from comfortable shallow coral gardens to drift dives, wall dives and multi-level areas where you can choose your next dive. Wreck diving and night diving enhance your diving experience.
All the Aqua Sport centres carry a full range of the most modern rental diving equipment, fully maintained in top condition in our own extensive workshop. We rent 12 litre (80cu.ft.) aluminium tanks, all tanks are equipped for the ``A`` clamp attachment. DIN adapters are available for rent. Rental wetsuits are 5mm two piece Farmer John with Bermuda, women`s wetsuits are also available.

The ``Diving Locker``, offers a wide range of diving accessories as well as quality diving equipment imported from some of the top manufacturers in the world; Sherwood, US Divers, Aqua Lung, Sea Quest and Seac Sub. This and the fact that Aqua Sport is based in a V.A.T. free zone assures our clients the most competitive prices without compromise.
Aqua Sport`s daily diving excursions encompass boat and shore-based diving. Our boats are purpose-built and therefore large, comfortable and fully equipped. Crew and dive masters are professional, familiar with all safety procedures both on board and under water. They guarantee relaxed, carefree days at the reef. The same applies with shore-based excursions, where our air-conditioned mini-Vans and four-wheel drive vehicles take you in safety and comfort to all the convenient shore sites. All boat dives are two tank guided dives.
Location description: Sufa/Storm` - an Israeli missile boat. Bridge and engine safely accessible to divers. Site 300m north of Aqua Sport Eilat.
`Mosquito` - a small wrecked gunboat immediately in front of Aqua Sport Eilat in 30 m. Old enough for soft and hard corals to have formed. Home to beautiful reef fish.
`Moses Rock` - 300m south of Aqua Sport Eilat. Complete microcosm of prolific Red Sea reef life. Good photo opportunities.
`Japanese Gardens` - only accessible by dive boat. Marvelous, deep (20m) and shallow (6m) dive sites benefiting from new nature reserve regulations.
`The Canyon` - boasts densest population of rare `frog` fish.
`Coral Island` - beautiful, deep and shallow diving in the fringing reef, and good for snorkeling.
`The Fjord` - dramatic drop from 8m of water into 30m long x 16m deep hole with sandy bottom and upwelling of cold water. Beautiful coral heads.
`The Sunpool` - another oddity - a mini Dead Sea. Pristine reef, alive with multi-coloured tropical fish. Best in 4-12m range.
`Coral City` - open water dive with 10m bottom shelving gently in to the depths. Seabed a vast expanse of coral reef full of reef fish.
`Calamari Cove` - crystal clear water. Outstanding snorkelling location.
`Max`s Reef` - never before accessible. This reef is 500m from land and rises from 70m of water to 10m. Eagle rays and groupers`` trawl`` through, fishing the `island`. Gigantic brain coral and table corals, and clouds of goldfish.
`Angel Net` -An offshore reef of Table Corals with a huge pinnacle in the middle surrounded with glass fish. Max depth - 19 metres.
`Marsa el Muqabila` - a gentle slope filled with coral and coral knolls. A gigantic coral head dominates the 12m range. Deep crevices with sandy bottom take the diver to 30m.
`Napoleon Reef` - similar to Muqabila plus Napoleon fish not yet spoiled by the `egg feeders`.
`Zak`s Corner` - Situated on the northern part of the Fjord.
A very colourful reef, 300 metres long and shallow ( 4 - 10 mtrs deep)
The reef connect to a canyon which has a maximum depth of 20 mtrs.
Sailing distance - 40 minutes.
`Topaz Garden` - A beautiful coral slope starting at 15 mtrs and finsihing in a big sandy valley at 30 mtrs.
A huge variey of fish including: Angel Fish, Big Groupers, Blue Trigger Fish, Moray Eels and Sting Rays. Sailing Distance - 55 minutes.
