Company description Our SNUBA® ADVENTURE is the easiest way for non-divers to visit the underwater world.
We are a small diving center, approved by the Israeli Diving Authority. We provide services for qualified divers, such as: SCUBA equipment rentals, air refills, private guided dives, night dives etc. The dive center is using mainly MARES equipment.
SNUBA® combines the ease of SNorkeling with the abilities of scUBA divers to remain underwater.
The heavy air tank remains on a small, lightweight, inflatable boat that floats above the divers, the air comes via an air-line and a breathing regulator that is attached to the diver with a harness. as the divers swim underwater, they tow the boat above them.
An instructor (using SCUBA) accompanies every 2 divers while they are underwater.
The length of the program is about 75 minutes. It includes briefing by your instructor, dressing-up (wetsuit, mask, fins, weight belt), practice in shallow water and an underwater tour to a maximum depth of 6 meters among the fish and corals of the Red Sea.
A SNUBA ADVENTURE is suitable for almost everyone aged 8 years and above who is in good health and feels comfortable in the water.
Location description: The beach in front of SNUBA is part of the open coral reserve. It is a free beach (no entry fees) but you must observe all the rules of a the underwater nature reserve: No touching or breaking corals, do not remove anything from the sea, no fishing, entry and exit only through the marked lanes. The snorkeling area is marked and is out of bounds to boats.
At our site we have all the facilities you need. Hot showers, clean bathrooms, lockers where you can leave your equipment while diving or snorkeling, a sitting area wit tables and chairs, a Sinai style sitting area on matts, hot and cold drinks, ice creams, snacks and a small beach store.
