Company description Beaver Aquatics has been serving Campbell River and the North Island`s SCUBA diving needs since 1985. They offer a full range of Padi Classes from Discover SCUBA to divemaster, and full gear rental for snorkeling and SCUBA.
Besides Beaver Aquatics offer the best inventory of dive gear for sale on the North Island and maintain a fully qualified service department.
Location description: Campbell River is one of the top cold-water diving destinations in the world. The strong tidal currents that flow through Discovery Passage support an astonishing array of marine life. The steep walls of the channel are blanketed by a colourful collection of invertebrates - anemone`s, sponges and soft corals - and provide homes for many varieties of fish - from the tiny, pugnacious grunt sculpin to Cap`n Crunch, an eight foot long wolfeel, (Anarrhychthys ocellatus), who has been a favourite of divers for more than fifteen years.
