Down below there is a private change area and a head (toilet) for your convenience. You enter the water by either a giant stride off the side, or if you prefer off the ladder at the stern. Camera`s, scooters and such can be handed to you after you enter the water. Monday is when the local divers head out for ``their new gear`` found around the wrecks. We don`t want you to lose your stuff jumping in. You wouldn`t believe the good gear we find that divers have dropped.

Location description:

St. Lawrence river is considered the fresh water wreck diving capital of the world. The Munson is a dredging barge and on April 30th 1890 she sank while being towed to Belleville to work on the Quinte bridge She sank just off Lemoine Point after springing a keel plank. She sits in 110` of water and is a advanced dive. Many artifacts still remain on board to be enjoyed. Wolfe Islander ll This is our most popular wreck here in Kingston. This was our ferry over to Wolfe Island. As a teenager, my friends and I would ride the ferry over to Wolfe Island and try to sweet talk the tourist girls. (without much luck) and raise a little hell until the crew kicked us off. In Sept 21, 1985 after much fanfare she was sunk as a dive site. She is 165` long and sits in 85` of water and is a great beginner dive as you can be on the wreck in 40` of water. A great number of divers have had their first open water dive on her. But it`s also a advanced wreck dive with penetration into her crew quarters and engine room. It`s one fun dive no matter your diving level. The Davie is a freighter barge, she was carrying a load of coal when she sank about 3 miles south of Nine Mile Point. A great dive with lots to see including her lifeboat, a large unloading crane with shovel head, winch, boilers and many scattered artifacts. this is a advanced dive with limited penetration into her holds and into the cabin.
