Location description:
We offer diving courses. The Open Water Diver course is the first step in your Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) diver education. PADI is the world`s largest and most recognized diver training organization. If you are comfortable in the water, in reasonably good health and 10 years of age or older, then you CAN learn to SCUBA Dive! This entry level course is designed to help develop the knowledge and skills needed to safely explore the underwater world. The emphasis is on FUN, with all the required skills taught in a safe and enjoyable manner.
*Advanced Open Water Diver
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to provide divers with a structured, well supervised means to gain practical experience after their initial certification. The course consists of two (2) core dives and three (3) elective dives.
*Rescue Diver Course
The PADI Rescue Diver Course is an important and crucial step in expanding a diver`s knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. The Rescue Diver Course is a pre-requisite for all PADI leadership training courses such as Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor. This program teaches you to focus not only on yourself, but on other divers. The course shows you how to recognize and prevent a diving accident before it occurs, and how to respond if one does. Although the subject matter is serious, the course is both intensely rewarding and enjoyable! The PADI Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for an individual to effectively perform diver rescues and assists, manage diving accident situations and render proper first aid to divers. Knowing these skills builds diver confidence by increasing the comfort level in handling any problems in the water. The PADI Rescue Diver Course consists of 2-3 classroom sessions, 2 pool sessions and one weekend of open water training. Participants will practice 10 different skill training exercises and 4 open water training applications.
*Divemaster Course
If your love of diving interests you in making it a career, the PADI Divemaster course gets you started! Designed to develop your leadership abilities and expand your diving knowledge to a professional level, the PADI Divemaster Course can expand your capabilities and make you a better diver. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you`ll develop your diving knowledge and theory to the professional level. You will learn PADI`s carefully designed techniques for supervising diving activities and assisting divers with training. The PADI Divemaster Manual covers the Role of the Divemaster, Dive Planning, Dive Management and Control, and the procedures you`ll use when supervising divers in a variety of activities and environments. This course is a performance based program, so course duration depends on class size, logistics and candidate performance characteristics. Recommended duration is approx. 50 hours
