At Airheads Scuba education is one of our main priorities. We offer more classes than any other dive shop in Kentuckiana. Each of our partners has participated in numerous classes since openwater certification. We set an example which we try to instill in our clients so that they will be the safest, most comfortable divers possible.
In addition, we believe in individuality. Each of us has different interests and goals. As divers, we have many avenues we can pursue in continuing education. We strive to provide our clients the freedom to pursue their own interests (whatever they may be) by offering consultation and guidance for the appropriate training and equipment necessary for their goals.
WE OFFER MORE TRAINING THAN ANY OTHER DIVE SHOP IN KENTUCKIANA
MDEA, Multinational Diving Educators Association, was established in 1984. They believe in a traditional approach to dive training. Their Level Diver approach in training advancement is not fancy names or titles, only strong recognition to the training accomplished by all dive profesionals.
Team Airheads Dive Club
For an annual membership fee, our members receive substantial discounts and dive opportunities at Airheads Scuba, Inc. These include:
A monthly meeting at a local restaurant where a series of guest speakers will address the members. This is a great opportunity to network with fellow divers. The meetings are on the third Thursday at 7:00PM at Mr. Gatti``s on Bardstown Rd. We will attempt to have a variety of guest speakers present on various topics. The format is informal. A pay your own meal is followed by the meeting.
A class of the month is offered at a 20% reduction of the normal fees offered at Airheads Scuba. Look at the website for actual dates and class info on the calendar page.
An official dive held at various dive sites for a dive get-together once a month. This is a great time to see or try out some of the neat stuff some of the members use. (There may be a nominal charge for this).
That is not all! Team Airheads members are also entitled to special prices at Airheads Scuba, Inc. These discounts are not available to the general public and include:
10 -20 % off the already low prices at Airheads Scuba. (See member rules for specific conditions)
10% off all classes offered at Airheads Scuba except for technical classes.

Whether your interests are simple or complicated, you are always welcome here. Our regular terms will remain in effect for non-members.
Location description: What is local diving for Airheads? Basically any location within about three hours of driving or less. Louisville, Kentucky is not blessed with an overabundance of dive sites. The closest site open to the public is in La Grange. Because we offer so many advanced classes, we must travel to a variety of sites to have access to the minimum depths required by the organizations.
Below is a list of some of the quarries we visit on a regular basis. Call or check this site by Friday each week to find out where we will be going each weekend. Anyone can join us for these weekly dives. We usually meet at the dive shop in the morning and set up car pools to help on the cost. Remember: part of the fun of diving is the camaraderie.
