Company description The PADI 5 Star Dive Center membership level is awarded to progressive PADI Dive Centers that excel in providing dive consumers with a full range of diver education programs, equipment selection, and experience opportunities and that actively promote aquatic environmental awareness. A PADI 5 Star Dive Center is active in its community presenting a professional image consistent with, or better than, the norm of the marketplace. These dive centers embrace the PADI System of diver education and are committed to providing customers with quality products, services and experiences.
Aqua Azul Divers offers YOU the customer a variety of services. Not only do we sell, service, and rent equipment. We also provide PADI certified training programs, compressed air, travel opportunities, & sponsor an environmental awareness diving event yearly.
We ARE a PADI Dive Center that prides itself on promoting diver safety, environmental awareness, and quality education.
Class is designed as an introduction to scuba diving. It is a very short class designed to allow an individual or a family to cheaply and quickly find out if they are interested in becoming a fully certified diver or divers. Classes are run any time YOU want one!
Kids - bring your parents diving! For young adventurers like you, the Bubblemaker program is an introduction to the thrill of breathing underwater. If you`re eight or nine years of age, now is your chance to take the plunge with a PADI Instructor and go pool diving. Whether it`s a glass of milk, bubble gum or submerged beneath the surface - you can`t help blowing bubbles! So try blowing bubbles our way. Start out on the right fin, jump into the PADI Bubblemaker program today!
The PADI Scuba Diver Course:
This course certifies the diver to dive on guided dives only to a maximum depth of 12m/40ft . This certification has just over half of the requirements of Open Water Diver. It can be upgraded to PADI Open Water Diver if the student completes the remaining requirements within one year of certification or longer with some re-training.
The PADI Open Water Diver Course:
This is the full, internationally recognized course certifying the diver to dive to a maximum recommended depth of 18m/60ft. It requires 5 Classroom/Theoretical Training Modules, 5 Confined or Pool Diving Modules and 4 Open Water Dives.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course: The course duration is 2-3 days.
After a student completes the PADI Open Water Diver Course he/she will want to get more training and experience in various specialty areas of diving. This course certifies the diver to a depth of 30m/100ft. It requires 5 dives consisting of 1 Deep Dive, 1 Navigation Dive and 3 others of the Instructor``s choice (Night Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Photography, Multilevel and Computer , Search and Recovery, Boat, Fish ID, etc.)
The PADI Rescue Diver Course: Course Duration Approx. 2 days .
An Advanced Open Water may join this course to learn self-rescue and accident prevention and management skills. The course includes classroom training and open water practice in 12 rescue scenarios. A pre-requisite is the Emergency Response Course.

Divemaster:
This is the first level of PADI Professional Membership. Pre-requisites are the diver must be at least 18 years old, be a PADI Rescue Diver or Equivalent and have at least 20 logged dives. The course is taught as an apprenticeship..
