Aquatic Adventures Scuba Academy in Alexandria, Virginia is one of the premier dive centers in the mid-Atlantic region. As a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development (IDC) Dive Center and the areas 1st National Geographic Dive Center we offer uncompromising and professional scuba instruction from beginner through instructor training. Our sales department is known for quality products and fair pricing. We are authorized dealers for Aeris, Dacor, Genesis, Mares, OMS, Sherwood, and Zeagle Scuba diving equipment, Henderson wetsuits and O.S. System Dry Suits. We endeavor to maintain a complete inventory and we service what we sell. We also carry a large assortment of snorkeling equipment and supplies.

CUSTOM PROFESSIONAL FITTING:
Very of us can just walk into a store and find clothing on the rack that fits perfectly. The need for a proper fit is essential with Scuba Equipment. At Aquatic Adventures we will custom fit that regulator or BCD to insure the best fit possible! Proper regulator hose length means more than just comfort, it means getting the most out of your regulator. Our Zeagle BCDs are custom fitted to your personal body dimensions to insure not only great fit and comfort but optimal buoyancy control and safety.
PROFESSIONAL ASSEMBLY AND TESTING
All regulators, gauges and consoles need to be properly assembled and tested. Occasionally factory settings can go astray during shipping. At Aquatic Adventures one of our factory-trained technicians will assemble and bench test your new regulator and accessories. Any needed adjustments will be made. When your equipment is purchased at Aquatic Adventures we will waive the regular charges for this service, which can be a significant savings.
Location description: Cozumel in July
When you think of diving in the Caribbean the ``big three`` immediately come to mind, Cayman, Cozumel and Bonaire. Our trip this coming July is to our favorite resort in Cozumel, Scuba Club.
For those of you who have never been to Cozumel, the Island is located just south of the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula in the state of Quinta Roo, Mexico. It is directly opposite of the city of Cancun. Cozumel definitely is Mexico`s premier dive location.
Cozumel is truly a dive destination that has something for everyone. Beautiful drift dives loaded with sea life and corals, and arguably the best visibility in all of the Caribbean. Large schools of fish, amazing critters like banded coral shrimp and arrow crabs, and even those special sightings, like turtles, sea horses and octopus can be seen on most any dive. Cozumel is noted for its drift dives and boasts of what many consider to be the best visibility in the entire Caribbean! What an incredible place to finish that Open Water or Specialty Dive Course?
When not diving spend your time either touring the Mayan ruins (Talum and Chechen Itza) on the nearby mainland of Mexico or walking through the quaint town of San Miguel. San Miguel is dotted with restaurants and bars and hosts a local bazaar where you can find a myriad of local handicrafts.
We will spend an entire week (July 1 - July 8, 2006) at Scuba Club Cozumel. Included in this 8 day, 7 night package is five days of two tank boat dives and unlimited beach diving. Scuba Club is known for its great cuisine, and our trip includes three meals per day at their great restaurant. Round trip airfare from Washington to Cozumel and airport to hotel transfers when we arrive and depart are also included. The entire package is incredibly priced at only $1555.00 per person double occupancy.
This is an excellent bargain and a vacation that you would not want to miss.
Curaзao in October
Curaзao is outside the hurricane belt in the southern Caribbean, 60 miles from Venezuela, between Aruba & Bonaire . Known as one of the ABC Islands, Curaзao is very unique. Its Dutch Colonial buildings painted in shades of yellow, orange and blue are reminiscent of Amsterdam, yet the dry climate, barren soil and cacti are more akin to the southwestern U.S. Curacao`s greatest natural beauty lies offshore -- around the island`s coral reefs, which are drawing an increasing number of divers and snorkelers.
Join us this October for a fantastic Caribbean Fall Get-A-Way! We will stay eight days and seven nights at Lion`s Den Dive & Beach Resort. We have scheduled six days of two tank boat dives and unlimited shore diving. To make sure that you are ready and raring to go, breakfast daily is included in our package.
Our resort is located next to the Seaquarium and free admission is also part of our package.
