Company description Located in Lawrence, Kansas, Blue Planet is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center affiliated with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). We are one of only two dive centers in the state of Kansas to have earned this distinction.
Blue Planet is comprised of a well-stocked retail store, classroom facilities with modern computerized audio-visual equipment, and an eleven foot deep indoor training pool heated to 86 degrees Fahrenheit both summer and winter.
Blue Planet provides clean high-pressured air to 4500 psi, Nitrox and Trimix, and is an IANTD certified blender of breathing gases. (*International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers)
Our Midwest U.S.A. location is central to many inland scuba divers; affords a multitude of unique regional freshwater diving opportunities; and provides an economical travel hub to exotic blue water dive sites around the world.
Blue Planet has programs in Advanced Nitrox, Deep Diving, TEC REC, Tri-mix and Rebreathers at the student and instructor level.
Blue Planet travels the world throughout the year! We take care of all the planning, scheduling and details for each trip. The only thing you need to do is sign up!
We also go to the Florida Keys twice a month for long weekends. Trips and dates subject to change based on availability and pricing.

Come and join the Blue Planet staff and friends on a live aboard experience unlike any others. May 28th- June 4. This spacious boat allows everyone their own cabin and restroom. Your trip will include all taxes, tip, transfers, food, lodging, and unlimited diving for seven full days. Air fair will be left to individuals as many people have frequent flyer miles. The trip will be $1875 per person and $500 will hold your spot. Deposit must be received by March 20th, and full payment for the trip is due April 30th.
WEEKEND GETAWAYS KEY LARGO!
We have found that although folks like to travel, they often can’t afford the time or expense of taking a full week off to travel to an exotic destination. Therefore we have created our weekend Florida Keys Getaways. These are generally done in three or four day weekend packages. Your package will include accommodations at a vacation home in the Keys, diving with Ocean Divers, and transportation while you are there. You can chose from a Thursday - Sunday trip for $325 or a Thursday - Monday for $415. Add your own airfare for under $200 and you have a cheap quick getaway.
