Company description California Dive Center caters to all divers needs.
With that in mind, we`ve created a two-pronged approach to dive instruction - the family, and the adventure diver.
To address the needs of the family, we`ve developed several programs with younger divers in mind. All children`s programs are done in the safety of a swimming pool, but offer many of the same exciting adventures that older divers have! We offer programs that take kids from snorkeling on Scuba to pool diving to, when they reach ten, actual diving in the ocean. The end result is a radically new approach for the family to take vacations! And, to assist in that, CDC offers a family travel program.
California Dive Center also recognizes that some women would rather not learn to dive in a co-ed environment. With that in mind, CDC offers Women`s Open Water (WOW) on certain training dates. All dive staff and students are women only for these classes. Check with the Center for more information.
California Dive Center is the first Bay Area PADI 5 Star Dive Center to receive the National Geographic Dive Center designation. We have trained all of our Instructors as National Geographic Dive Instructors to offer you the most flexibility when chosing a dive education program.
California Dive Center was named by the Dive Equipment and Marketing Association (DEMA) as one of the top fifteen stores in the U.S. for 2005! California Dive Center is also the only dive center in the world that has received the prestigious Project AWARE Environmental Achievement Award three times in a row!.

guarantee. If you can find a product within a 40 mile radius of the Center within
15 days of purchase at a lower price, just bring your receipt to the Center, and we`ll refund the difference.

Local Diving
The NorCal Divers dive as a club twice a month - one`s a beach dive somewhere along the coast, the other is a Monterey boat dive.
Monterey Boat Diving
California Dive Center regularly dives with the Escapade in Monterey. Check with the Center for dates and times.. NorCal Divers receive a 10% discount when booking through California Dive Center. The cost is $85/passenger (diver or non-diver). We usually will have an Instructor on board, so if you want to sneak in a Nitrox or Drysuit Specialty while having a great couple of dives, just let us know!

Join California Dive Center on the Lois Ann for a weekend of wreck diving! Wreck diving is PADI`s August specialty of the month - so join us on the best wreck dives in California! We`ll meet up at the docks on August 12th in San Diego for a three tank trip out to Wreck Alley - diving the Yukon, Ruby E, and El Rey! After an evening of feasting, we`ll meet again Sunday morning for yet another dive on the Yukon, then we`ll do out final dive on The Tower. Price for this weekend of diving is only $140!! (price is for diving only) Nitrox is available for $8/tank, and must be reserved in advance. CDC Instructors will be on board for those who are looking to get their PADI Wreck Diver and/or Deep Diver certifications.
