The PADI Discover Scuba/ Discover Scuba Diving programs let you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor in pool or pool like conditions, such as those found at a resort. During your adventure, you`ll master some basic concepts and scuba skills and might even head off on an open water adventure.
Now is the time to dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world! This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI, the dive company that sets the standards in the global diving community.
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with your instructor to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program.
Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water (ocean or lake) dives.
How long will it take?
PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you.
Location description: Want a great way to travel? Come with us! We take all the guess work out of your dive vacation. All of our trips are led by one of our highly qualified instructors or divemasters, who will make sure everything is taken care of.
We also offer trip planning and booking if these trips do not meet your schedule or appeal to you.

*Isla Cozumel
We are planning several long weekend trips to Cozumel this year. Look for Details for trips in May, June, July, August, and September. *We are back off to the island of Roatan. This will be a 7 night 8 day all inclusive vacation. Check out our Caribbean page for more details. This trip includes airfare from San Antonio, diving, hotel, meals, transfers, etc. This is a perfect trip to finish your certification.
*We are off on a Deep Blue Adventure to Ambergris Caye, Belize. Come dive one of the most unique around. From the Blue Hole to Turneffe to the local diving around Ambergris Caye, this dive area offers something for everyone. Call for more details. Trip includes airfare from San Antonio, hotel, diving, mainland adventure, breakfast every day, transfers, etc.
*We are off on a Deep Blue Adventure to Catalina Island. Come dive one of the most lush dive sites in the world. You will see many big pelagic animals as you move through the kelp forests.
*Come join us for a Deep Blue Adventure to St. Lucia. This will be a 7 night 8 day vacation. We will be staying at Anse Chastenet. The trip includes airfare from San Antonio, 12 boat dives, 2 night dives, unlimited shore diving, all meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner). Check out our Caribbean page for more details. This is a perfect trip to finish your certification.
*We have a trip of a lifetime planned. Come and join us in the Galapagos Islands for a week aboard the Aggressor boat there.
