Location description: Dive sites:
*Nubble Light
The rocky bottom is covered in many places with rich seaweed beds providing great habitat for a variety of fish. The water be accessed by an easy rocky entry. The cove on the north side of this channel is a more popular dive spot, but the south cove is also a nice dive when the surf is rough in north cove.
*Fort Foster
Old submarine lookout fort in Kittery, ME. Fee to get in and closes at dusk.
*Great Island Common
The Town-owned Great Island Common, a 31 acre ocean side park, is the Town`s recreational centerpiece. The Common is open to residents without charge, and to non-residents for a small fee. The Common is ideal for outdoor sports activities, picnicking, family gatherings, and swimming. Ample parking and toilet facilities are available on the ``Common`` as well as swings, and other playground equipment for the youngsters. Adjacent to Great Island Common is New Castle Beach. Access to New Castle Beach is via Ocean Street or the Common and is open to the public.
Lots of fish and eel grass. Great place for a picnic too. Very shallow at low tide.

Good dive in New Castle
*McKiney Park, Winnepasaukee
Nice fresh water dive in Wolfboro
*Pulpit Rocks
Nice dive in Rye across from the submarine lookout tower.
*Seal Rocks
Next to Pulpit
*Back Beach
Easy entry and exit with lots to see. Metered parking and bathrooms.
*Old Garden Beach
Horseshoe reef with sand in the middle. Good lobsters.
*Folly Cove
Very pretty dive with tough parking.
*Magnolia Rocks
Very pretty dive with an entry that can be difficult in rougher seas..
*Cathedral Rocks
Deep dive from shore with a long, rocky incline to the water.
*Pebble Beach
Southeasterly exposure, is a easy rocky or sandy entry. Depth 15 to 35+ feet. A reef is located to the right when facing the ocean.
