Company description Welcome to Diver`s Realm, a PADI Dive Center, in Appleton, Wisconsin. We like to dive and invite you to dive with us. If you plan to visit Northeast Wisconsin or live here check out our classes, trips, evening dives, sales, and events. We offer lots of FUN activities (Underwater Costume Ball, ``FUN`` Dives, Pool Parties) and a well stocked store. Charlene & Mel Goffard, of Hortonville, opened Diver`s Realm in July of 1998. This July Diver`s Realm will be 8 years old. Diver`s Realm offers local dive experiences and an occasional trip to warmer places. We are a PADI Dive Center and offer a wide variety of PADI Courses. Whether you want to snorkel, learn scuba, or visit a shipwreck we can take you there.
Services: Diver`s Realm, Inc. provides Air & Nitrox Fills, Equipment Rentals, Fun Dives, Repairs, Service, Travel & PADI Instruction.
Evening Fun Dives:
During the summer months we run FREE evening ``FUN`` dives with reduced rental rates if you don`t have gear. We`ll help keep you diving. It`s a good way to meet other divers and try new dive locations.
Learn to Dive:
We currently have the following dates set aside a for Beginning Scuba Class. If you are heading south and want to scuba dive during your trip, take the class & pool sessions here. Then complete the course dives to become a certified diver while you are on vacation or do them here in June.
PADI Equipment Specialist Course:
Join us for a PADI Equipment Specialist Course. Learn more about your diving equipment - how it works and how to care for it. This is a PADI Specialty that counts towards the PADI Master Scuba Diver Rating.
We offer the following special programs and activities.
Discover ``TRY`` Scuba Parties:
Great for Birthday Parties, youth groups, adventure clubs, church groups....``TRY SCUBA`` in a heated indoor pool. Photos of participants can be provided. Kids 8-80 can enjoy scuba if they are comfortable in the water and in good health.
AAA Members:

PADI SEAL TEAM FOR KIDS!
Kids, join the PADI Seal Team and learn to scuba dives! Children as young as eight can learn to scuba dive on the PADI Seal Team. All diving takes place in a swimming pool.
Scuba diving is an exciting sport your child can do for his/her entire life. Scuba Diving builds confidence, teaches basic physics & physiology, and provides physical activity. Your child doesn`t have to be the largest and most athletic to succeed. Good divers come in all shapes and sizes. Children should be in good health and comfortable in the water.

Location description: Wisconsin has over 14,000 bodies of water. We are surrounded by Lake Michigan to the East and Lake Superior to the North. Jump in, enjoy the aquatic life, visit a shipwreck, explore history, stock your tackle box, or just blow a few bubbles. Explore one of our Great Lakes, a smaller inland lake, a quarry, river, or mine pit. The places to go are almost endless.
Devil`s Lake Day Trip:
Join us for our Annual excursion to Devil`s Lake State Park. Two dives and a picnic are planned. Occasionally some of us will also do a little hiking. It`s a beautiful lake nestled between 600 ` cliffs in the Baraboo Bluffs. Sign up at Diver`s Realm.
Lake Superior Wreck Diving Trips:
We`ve got two Munising Trips planned for 2006. July 29 & 30 we`ll be doing a Munising Trip with the all day Kiowa Run. Enjoy a cruise out along Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore along with Superior Diving.
September 9 & 10 is our Munising Trip and PADI Wreck Diving Course Dives
July 16-21 we will be diving Isle Royale.
On February 4-11, 2006 we had a wonderful group of 25 people visit beautiful Anthony`s Key Resort on the island of Roatan, Honduras with us. We did a lot of diving, relaxed, rode horses, and had a great time. Many of us did the shark dive. We visited 2 wrecks and saw lots of eels, turtles, and a few seahorses. Diving Trips are always great when you are with friends!
About the Owners:
Charlene Goffard started diving in 1976. She has been teaching scuba since 1981 and is a PADI Master Instructor. Charlene is certified to teach many of PADI`s Specialty Courses including: Ice Diving, Wreck Diving, Underwater Photography, Search & Recovery, Equipment Specialist and many more.
Melvin Goffard learned to dive in 1983. In 1986 he became a PADI Divemaster. Mel does most of our equipment repairs and Nitrox mixing. He is a machinist by day and then helps out at the store in the evenings & weekends.
The other member of our family is Matthew. He is 11 years old and became a PADI JR Open Water Diver in July of 2004!
