Company description We specialize in dive equipment repairs, scuba instruction, and also carry a complete line of dive, swimming, and snorkeling equipment. Diver`s Cove / Sea Wolf II also sponsors economical exotic diving trips to premier diving locations all over the world.
We carry a very full line of scuba and snorkeling equipment, and offer all of the NAUI, SSI, TDI dive certification courses. We also rent equipment and provide air and Nitrox fills to all certified divers.
Courses include Open Water Certification, Advanced Open Water, Recreational Diver Self/Buddy Rescue Course, Rebreather,
Nitrox and Advanced NITROX,
DAN O2/CPR/First Aid, CPR and First Aid Recertificaton, Drysuit Seminar,
Buoyancy Control Workshop, Photography Classes, Local Charters (Fishers Island, Point Judith, Block Island, Rockport MA, and more),
Wednesday Afternoon Dives. Scuba Diver is the first step in dive certification. The course covers all skills and safety information needed for you to become an open water diver. After successfully completing the course,you`ll receive your NAUI or SSI Scuba Diver Certification Card. This will allow you to dive anywhere in the world.
The course involves classroom and diving lessons in the pool, and lasts about six weeks. All dive equipment, air, and manuals will be provided by Diver`s Cove / Sea Wolf II for one low price. (Not included is snorkeling equipment - mask, fins, snorkel, boots)
Advanced Certification involves two intense weekends of diving that will provide an introduction to the many facets of diving in New England. No classroom study is involved, all lessons will be learned at the dive sites. If needed, equipment can be rented from Diver`s Cove / Sea Wolf II
Wednesday Afternoon Dives Back by popular demand, see the best local beach diving has to offer. Hosted by the dive experts at Diver`s Cove.
We repair most dive equipment including:
Regulators (most major brands), Drysuits (Neoprene and Rubber), Wetsuits (all types),
Rescue Suits (all types). We also perform warranty repairs on most major brands of equipment, including: US Divers / Aqua Lung, Dacor, Scubapro, Seaquest, Poseidon, Apollo,
Sherwood.
Location description: The shop is located in Essex, Connecticut.
This year`s trip to Morehead City is in July. As usual the charters will be through the Olympus Dive Center in Morehead City.
Dive Sites and Dive Boats
Wrecks, wrecks, wrecks, and then a few more wrecks. OK - tropical fish, good vis, warm water, and the delightful company of Ed . Average air and water temperature in July is 78 degrees with 80 to 100 feet visibility.
Into NITROX and other mixed gases: banked EANx30 and 36 available along with premixed EANx50 for decompression gas. A limited number of EANx rental tanks are available on site.
Olympus operates a fleet of dive boats tailored to divers needs.
Accommodations available at the Olympus` Diver Lodge, located two blocks from the pier, or a variety of other local beach resorts, all in the near vicinity of the boat.
Make this year`s adventure a family affair. The oceanside community of Atlantic Beach offers a variety of activities for the whole family: fishing charters, sail boats, personal watercraft rentals, fine restaurants, a small amusement park, public beach and boardwalk, antique and specialty shops, and golf. Area attractions include, The North Carolina Aquarium, Fort Macon State Park and Civil War Fort, Cape Lookout National Seashore, and the North Carolina Maritime Museum.
