We offer many different travel opportunities from local trips in our abundant lakes, quarries, and springs to tropical dive destinations such as Bonaire, Belize, Honduras, the Cayman Islands, Mexico, the Bahamas and any number of other exotic locations throughout the world.

We take pride in delivering the most comprehensive diver training programs in Central Illinois. We provide certification from Basic Scuba Diver through Assistant Instructor, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Our courses are a blend of home study, academic review, and practical application, with an emphasis on in water training. We firmly believe that you can only learn to dive while you are in the water.
We specialize in personalized instruction. Our classes are small, averaging between 4 and 6 students per class. This guarantees you the personal attention that you deserve and makes for a much better, more enjoyable learning environment.

Your first SCUBA course is the foundation upon which a lifetime of safe, fun underwater exploration is built. There are simply no short cuts to building that strong foundation. While others may do it more cheaply or more quickly, Do Dive In will never compromise the quality of your educational experience with a course that only fulfills a part of your needs. Our entry level courses are comprehensive, taught by a staff of dedicated dive professionals who are committed to giving you the best possible training. Becoming a certified SCUBA diver consists of three phases: academic training, much of which you can do in the comfort of your own home through the use of our self study materials, confined water training, where you`ll have fun learning the real world skills that will prepare you for your many diving adventures to come, and open water training where you`ll apply the skills that you mastered in the pool.
Provided by Student: Student kit plus your own scuba quality mask, fins, snorkel and wetsuit boots. Do Dive In has a wide selection of equipment to choose from at very reasonable and competitive prices.

Do Dive In offers many different travel opportunities from local trips to tropical dive adventures. We offer weekend ``get-aways`` to such places as Lake Michigan, Haigh Quarry in Kankakee, Mermet Springs in southern Illinois, and France Park in Indiana.
You can also join us on one of our guided tours to such world class diving destinations as Bonaire, Belize, Honduras, the Cayman Islands, Mexico, the Bahamas and any number of other exotic locations throughout the world. We`ve been organizing and leading group tours for 25 years and have learned an awful lot about dive travel in the process. All of our diving destinations are selected only after extensive research by our experienced staff of trip leaders who are very picky and demand the best in diving and accommodations.

Haigh Quarry, Kankakee, Illinois
*Close to home, Haigh Quarry is one of our favorite weekend trips with good visibility and an abundance of fish life (including the elusive spoon bill catfish). Advanced and specialty training will be available. Entry fee is $25 per day.
*Lake Michigan Wreck Adventures
Great wreck diving is as close as Chicago! There are over 20 different wrecks to see off the shoreline of Chicago- including the famous, 100 foot long wreck of the car ferry Straits of Mackinac.
Come join us aboard the RV Chicago and explore these historical shipwrecks and their artifacts. These are great trips for divers of any level: all you need is prior colder-water diving experience. Depths typically range from 40 to 80 feet.
The charter fee for these trips is just $75, payable upon registration. Divers must supply all normal open-water dive equipment, including two full tanks.
*Mermet Springs Trips, Metropolis, Illinois
Located near Metropolis Illinois, Mermet Springs has become one of the Midwest’s most popular diving quarries. This picturesque 8.5 acre spring fed limestone quarry boasts a healthy and varied fish life, including the prehistoric looking Spoon Bill catfish.
Diving depths range from 15 feet to over 100 feet, for divers with advanced and deep diving experience. There’s plenty of man made objects to explore during your dives, including a train car and the 727 featured in the movie “U.S. Marshals”. There are training platforms at various depths, perfect for Open Water and Advanced training.
This is one of our favorite lakes for Advanced Open Water, Nitrox and Wreck Diving training!
Above water amenities include equipment racks, shower rooms, changing rooms, picnic tables and a concession stand. Primitive camping is available and there are a number of reasonably priced motels in the area, so why not join us for a weekend of great Midwest diving?
