· Discover SCUBA
Not sure if SCUBA diving is your kind of sport? Come to the pool with us one night and try it out! Just $40, and if you decide to get certified after this, we will give you $40 off the cost of your open water course if taken within 6 months!
We offer dive courses.
Most people learn to dive through their local professional dive center. Dolphin Dive Center offers diving instruction, equipment sales, rentals, and servicing. We can also assist you with all of your dive travel plans.
10 is the minimum age for scuba divers. There is no upper age limit.
The cost of learning to dive can be broken down into three parts: Instruction, equipment purchase and travel.
When learning from the professionals at Dolphin Dive Center, the class and pool portion of the open water training is $260. Also plan on spending between $150 and $300 to purchase essential equipment - like mask, fins, snorkel and booties. Once you complete the class and pool sessions, you need four open water dives to become fully certified. These can be done over a weekend. Dolphin Dive Center offers a trip to freshwater springs in Florida on the third weekend of every month.
An entry level certification course takes 3 days to complete. Our classes start on the first Saturday of every month.
Discover SCUBA
Dolphin Dive Center offers a Discover SCUBA course for only $39.95! Come to the pool with us one night and try out the sport with a trained professional. If you decide after that you want to be certified, we will deduct the $39.95 from the cost of your certification class. Just give us a call!
Open Water Course Schedule
Dolphin Dive Center holds the open water class over the period of one weekend: Saturday and Sunday from 1pm-5pm and 6:30pm-9:30pm. We will be having class on the following dates:
February 4th and 5th
March 4th and 5th
April 1st and 2nd
May 6th and 7th
June 3rd and 4th
We will be more than happy to schedule a private course if necessary (additional fees may apply).
Open Water Diver Equipment
Required for pool and open water diving. We offer following equipment:
Mask
The mask is maybe the most important piece of equipment you can buy. We dive to see what’s out there, and an improperly fitting mask can dramatically decrease your enjoyment of the underwater world.
Snorkel
There are 2 basic types of snorkels, dry and wet. The dry snorkel keeps water from entering the snorkel when it is submerged, while the wet snorkel must be cleared upon surfacing.
Fins
Fins help propel a diver through the water more efficiently. Fins come in many different styles, and a wide range of prices.

Location description: Some information about trips:
Monthly: Open Water Certification Trip
This trip is to Vortex Springs in north Florida. $345 per person includes lodging diving, spring fees, air fills, rental gear (except mask, snorkel, fins, and booties) and meals. Certified divers are also welcome;
Bonaire!
$1695 per diver, $1475 per nondiver
Bonaire is off the coast of Venezuela, and is known for it`s shore diving - incredible! We are staying in 2-bedroom condos, 4 persons per condo.
With unlimited shore diving, this is a chance to rack up on those dives, and see some incredible sights. Buddy has a drive-thru tank station - they will load your pickup with tanks and you can drive around the island and dive anywhere, anytime. The perimeter road on Bonaire has yellow stones marking each dive site, so you simply pull over at one of the markers, set up your gear, and walk right in to an underwater paradise! Sea horses are a common sight, as are frog fish, and many other southern Caribbean wonders, and you can dive right from the dock in front of the resort! Other activities available at an extra charge - sport fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, windsurfing, parasailing, sunset cruise, etc. Kitchens are fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. All condos have air-conditioned bedrooms, cable TVs, in-room safes, phones, large, private balconies or patios, and beach towels are provided free of charge. There are laundry services on site.
Cozumel! $1595 per diver, $1345 per nondiver
Cozumel is some of the best diving in the Caribbean, and an excellent place to spend your vacation!
The Reef Club is situated directly on the beach on the east coast of the island. The hotel offers reception with currency exchange, car rental, swimming pools, lounge bar, main buffet restaurant with Mexican and international cuisine, grill/snack bar, Italian seated restaurant, health and beauty center (massage, fitness), souvenir shop, medical services, and much more.
Sports, games and other amenities included are: windsurfing, kayaking, catamarans, tennis, diving and snorkeling demonstrations, beach sports, massage therapy, manicures, pedicures, horseback-riding tours, etc.
Juliet Live-aboard trip to the Bahamas
$1295 per passenger
Unlimited diving, lodging on the boat, food, drinks, alcohol, fishing, tanks, and weights are included.
September is a great time to dive in the Bahamas - very warm water. The beauty of traveling on a live-aboard is that you can dive some amazing reefs that very few other divers ever see. 104 feet of paradise, with only 12 passengers and 5 crew. We`ll stop for a beach bonfire one night, and spend an evening on Bimini, home of the famous Complete Angler, where you can see great photos of Ernest Hemmingway during the time he wrote Old Man and the Sea.
and more, if you wish. Visit website for info.
