Company description Husker Divers in Lincoln, Nebraska is a full service scuba and snorkeling center with the personal touch. Involved in the scuba industry since the early 1970s, we not only offer experience but also the latest in the ever changing world of scuba technology.
Our center offers SSI and PADI certifications from Open Water Diver to SSI Instructor. We don`t just sell scuba equipment, we custom fit it to your needs. We have four qualified technicians to service all equipment. Rental equipment and extensive travel opportunities are also available. We carry a complete line of snorkeling equipment and offer snorkeling and fish identification classes.
Husker Divers is owned by Joseph and Donna Tyler of Lincoln.
Husker Divers North is owned and operated by Billy & Lois Farmer.
Scuba and snorkeling are safe and fun sports that you can enjoy for a lifetime!

*Open Water Scuba Classes
The first weekend is classroom and pool. You can check our calendar for exact weekends. It is a take-home study so you need to get the kit in advance. There is an easy reading book to complete plus you need to watch a video tape.
The second weekend you will be diving in a local lake. The skills that you have mastered in the swimming pool will be repeated. There will be plenty of fun diving with our local freshwater fish.
We provide all of the equipment you will need for your classes except your boots. You can buy these in class. We encourage you not to buy equipment before taking lessons as this is an excellent time to try out different types of equipment. Be sure to know what fit your needs before purchasing.
Husker Divers teaches SSI Open Water certification through Instructor. We also have an experienced underwater photographer on staff for the divers that want to learn how to take first class photos.
Location description: Travel with Husker Divers and Experience the World Husker Divers offers several options on trips each year. These options can vary from a weekend get-away to an exotic trip to the Caribbean.
When traveling with Husker Divers you will have an instructor leading the trip and we always take care the details so you can just relax and enjoy.

We found some new and exciting sites this year. These trips are excellent ways to get lots of diving and still have a relaxing weekend. You travel on Friday, dive Saturday and Sunday and return home on Monday. We stay in cabins with full kitchens so you can cook your own food. The outside grills are always fired up in the evening to cook your dinner.
Package includes:
3 nights at Pontiac Lodge Cabins
2 days of boat diving including tanks and air fills
Cost of the trip is $275 pp.
$75 deposit will reserve your weekend. These trips fill up fast so don’t wait to reserve your spot.
