Company description Kentucky Diving Headquarters` instructional staff has more than 80 years of combined teaching experience. We think our instructors make up the most professional and dedicated staff anywhere. If you`re considering learning to dive, you don`t have to look any further than Kentucky.
Our instructional program consists of a multi-media teaching system designed to allow you to proceed at your own pace. Through textbooks, workbooks, videos, classroom presentations and practical experience in the pool, you are exposed to all pertinent information about diving in an easy- to-understand, synchronized program. Scuba Schools International (SSI) has spent years refining a state-of-the-art teaching system which is respected and utilized throughout the world.

Our courteous and knowledgeable staff will be happy to arrange your class to suit your schedule. Our SCUBA program consists of two weeks of classes, held two sessions per week, followed by a weekend of open water dives.
Classes meet on three separate schedules: Monday & Wednesday 6-10 PM, Tuesday & Thursday 6-10 PM, Saturday & Sunday 1-5 PM. Classes are offered throughout the year. Each classroom session lasts from 1 1/2 to 2 hours, followed by 1 1/2 to 2 hours of pool work. The course is designed to flow smoothly from one set of skills to the next.
Kentucky Diving Headquarters will provide any equipment students do not already have for the pool sessions and checkout dives.
