Based on Kauai`s sunny south shore, the Poipu area, Mana Divers is a unique family owned and operated company, that values personal integrity, quality experiences and a high standard of excellence in providing personalized service.

Established in 1991, we are privileged to be on-property operators at two of the finest resort facilities Kauai has to offer:
At the Hyatt Regency Kauai, in Poipu, we use the lush five acre pristine saltwater lagoon. This creates an unique ocean-like environment for ``Bubblemakers,`` beginner preparation and training classes. Designed by a scuba instructor, the Hyatt Regency lagoon is truly the finest confined water facility available.
The Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club, located in Nawiliwili on our island`s east shore, boasts the states largest swimming pool. The pool with its waterfalls, reflecting ponds, island and statue fountains creates an air of fantasy. With the visibility of 200 feet, training and preparation at the Kauai Marriott is a grand experience.
Training and guided ocean dives are scheduled every day of the week including Sunday. Our fifteen years of guiding recreational divers on the island of Kauai has provided us with tremendous insight into this incredible sport and the wonderful people who participate in it. Guided ocean dives are thoroughly briefed and eco-informed. Divers are scheduled in small groups (maximum of 4 per instructor guide) of similar skill level or family groups. 1 and 2-tank dives are available. We don`t rush our tours and enjoy long bottom times. We don`t feed the marine life or take game and strictly discourage harassment. We carefully choose instructors who are truly compassionate, personable and excited about diving.
Every time I dive, at some point I catch myself being overwhelmed by the incredible beauty of our ocean environment and the experience of being underwater. The more I dive the more I see and learn. I am never bored of diving and delight in sharing the adventure. In fact, my greatest joy and challenge is derived through the effort of sharing the experience. I believe we are all given special individual talents in life and I have learned my gifts allow me to be expert in sharing the awe and adventure of diving with our guests.
The Hawaiian Dictionary lists mana as: ``supernatural or divine power... mana, miraculous power, privilege; miraculous, divinely powerful, spiritual...``

You don`t have to share my esoteric view to enjoy diving with us. However, I`m sure you will in some way after experiencing Kauai`s awesome beauty.
Location description: Mana Divers offers the following PADI courses: Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor and 17 Specialty Courses including Enriched Air (EANx), Cavern and DPV plus many others. All PADI programs are performance based. Most courses require 2 to 3 days to complete • Students are encouraged to begin home study before arriving on vacation. Independent study enhances schedule flexibility and allows candidates to arrive better prepared for their course. The program`s structure and educational materials encourage greater interaction - less talk, more action. A deposit of $75.00 enables us to mail student materials and begin correspondence to prepare for their course.
Scuba Diver This dive course is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect for vacationers or people who only plan to dive a couple times a year. As a subprogram of the PADI Open Water Diver course, the PADI Scuba Diver rating allows you to get certified quickly and easily by minimizing time constraints. With the PADI Scuba Diver certification you can dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher professional on your next vacation or dive trip.
Open Water Diver course is the most popular dive program in the world requiring approximately 25-30 hours. Students should allow 3 to 4 days to complete. The course includes 5 knowledge development sessions, 5 shallow water practice sessions and 4 open water ocean dives with all scuba equipment included.
Advanced Open Water Diver course requires 5 dives that can be completed in as little as 2 days. This course is an excellent way for a certified diver who is 15 years and older to learn and continue to develop additional dive skills plus be more confident in and around the water.
Rescue Diver course will expand your knowledge and experience level. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. A sanctioned CPR program within the past 24 months is required for certification.
Divemaster course is designed to develop your leadership abilities to a professional level. Working closely with your PADI Instructor, you`ll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. The Divemaster course can expand your capabilities and make you a better diver.
