Company description Maui Scuba Diving has been serving Certified Divers as well as visitors that have never dove before with a safety record that beats all. Maui scuba diving is located in the Lahaina, Kaanapali Beach area. Maui scuba diving employs only the most experienced Instructors and Dive Masters available. Maui scuba diving is also a Padi International Resort Association Dive Center representing the largest dive association in the world, Padi. Not only is safety our number one priority our equipment is maintained on a regular basis so it remains trouble free. If you prefer Maui scuba diving by boat you will ride quickly and safely to and from the most popular dive areas aboard the largest dive boats on the West side of the Island. Your dive tours can take you to Molokini Crater, one of Hawaii`s marine conservation areas or to the Island of Lanai to see one of the most interesting lava formations in the world. The depths on these dives are from the sixty foot plus range. The dive boats safety records are impeccable. If you prefer to dive our fantastic reefs from the shore we will take you to dive sites where entry and exits are very easy with no long and tiring swims out and back. These inshore reefs offer some of the best dives in the world. The depths are to forty feet and your bottom times will be greater due to the shallower depths. Most of our Hawaii marine life can be found on our inshore reefs. Hawaii`s Butterfly fish alone has twenty three different species each very brightly colored and three endemic only to Hawaii. Our Hawaii green sea turtles, moray eel, eagle rays and may other species of fish can be found here. Our dive training will take you from Padi Open Water Diver and above. These classes are fun and easy and our prices are competitive. The Open Water Certification Class takes three days for completion. Referral certification is also available with the proper documents from your instructor. This is where you complete your academics and pool training at home than complete the four open water dives in Hawaii to complete your certification. The referral certification takes two days, two dives per day at three hours each day. You will not be trained by a new or no experienced instructor. All Instructors are seasoned for your benefit of obtaining the the most accurate training available. After your training you will be proud to show others your Padi Open Water Certification Card and it will not be questioned world-wide.
Location description: Maui dive boats make daily trips from Lahaina Harbor, Ma`alea Harbor and Kihei to Molokini Crater, to the Cathedrals at the island of Lanai and to other famous spots. Another great spot our Maui dive boats can take you that consist of a world war II tank and landing craft can be seen. There is a newly sunken fishing trawler that has been put down about four years ago called the Saint Anthony. This is a 65 foot long line fishing vessel and former Louisiana Shrimper that was sank on October 26th,1997. It rests in about seventy feet of water. To date there growth on the wreck and many animals have made this there home including a few green sea turtles.
The Cathedrals at Lanai is another famous spot picked by many visitors. This trip takes about forty five minutes to Lanai and leaves daily from Lahaina Harbor and will take you to depths of around 65 feet. This lava formation is large enough to hold about 20 divers. The ceiling of the Cathedral extends upward to about two stories high. This type of a lava formation will not be seen anywhere else in the world. This is one that should not be missed.
Our boats are not like some so called, cattle boats They are comfortable with plenty of room for all. They will take two groups of six divers with three crew members.
Scuba trips to and from these areas are performed in the most safest manner and are the trips that will give you the most fun diving while you are on vacation. Our vessels will take you safely and quickly to these spots and return you to the dock safely. All vessels have fresh water showers and heads for your convenience.
