Company description New Mexico Scuba Center has been servicing the Southwest since 1988. New Mexico Scuba Center offers a wide range of training classes and travel packages along with equipment sales, service, repair and rentals.
Our mission is to provide the highest of quality in professionalism, scuba
training, equipment, support, and service. Our goal is to produce
competent, self-assured, and well-trained divers.
We offer a wide range of training classes from Open Water through Instructor Certification. New Mexico Scuba Center is a Platinum SSI Facility. Diving offers a lifetime of exciting adventure and the ideal way to begin that adventure is with SSI`s Open Water Diver course. Under the guidance of a professional SSI Instructor, you will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to enjoy a lifetime of underwater exploration.
We offer complete lines of snorkeling and scuba equipment from companies such as Zeagle, Oceanic, Aeris, Scuba Pro, Genesis, Sherwood, Tusa and many others. We have a huge on-site inventory of wet suits, masks, snorkels, fins, boots, lights, BCs, regulators, gauges, computers and other accessories. We are a full-service repair/service and rental center.
We offer travel packages for groups, families and individuals to desinations around the world for divers and non-divers alike. We have a full-time travel specialist who can arrange your travel needs

Location description: Below is a list of the classes we offer.
*Try Scuba (one pool session) $20.00
*Open Water Diver $250.00
We offer a full-certification class. Each student will receive 12 hours of class time and 12 hours of pool time and will be confident and competent divers after certification. Classes are small—usually no more than eight to a class—and are scheduled with you in mind.
*Advanced Open Water* $400.00
In only four weeks you can get the academics you need to be an advanced diver. Classes are small—usually no more than eitht to a class—and are scheduled with you in mind. You will need to provide your own mask, fins, snorkel, and boots and the costs of your open water weekend.
*Stress and Rescue $225.00
If you are going to take only one course — Stress & Rescue is the one! This class teaches you to identify stress in both you and your buddy before, during and after a dive. This class will give you the skills to deal with a stressful situation before it becomes an emergency.
*Enriched Air Nitrox $200.00
In the SSI Nitrox Course, you will learn about the advantages of diving with Nitrox and how to plan and execute a nitrox dive.
*First Aid/CPR $80.00
This class is design to not only give you full First Aid/CPR training, it also covers diving related injuries.
*DAN O2 Provider $84.00
The most significant first aid in and dive injuries is 100% Oxygen. The class covers proper administration techniques and proper use and care of O2 equipment.
*Scuba Skills Update $90.00
*Snorkeling Class $80.00
