Reefpoint is a full service scuba and snorkeling store located in Racine, Wisconsin, approximately 5 miles from Lake Michigan. We offer training; travel-local and remote; wreck diving; equipment sales, rental and service. And we fill tanks too--air and nitrox.

Scuba diving is serious fun and Reefpoint Diving Center wants you to enjoy it as much as we do! Our focus is helping you develop the skills to explore the underwater world, safely and confidently. We have the diving knowledge, experience and the training tools to make your learning experience both comfortable and fun. You can complete all the necessary classroom and pool work for the Open Water Course in a single weekend. These sessions prepare you for your Open Water Training Dives. There are a number of options available to you for completing your Training Dives. You can complete them over a single weekend, either in the morning or afternoon. We can also schedule other times to best suit your needs. We will also assist you in arranging your open water training dives at your choice of destination, if you choose.

A scuba experience is a great way to find out what scuba diving is all about. We provide all the necessary equipment, you bring a swimsuit and towel.
Has it been awhile since your last dive? A Scuba Skills Refresher is a great way to build up your comfort level and prepare you for that dive vacation you have planned. We combine classroom, pool and open water sessions in the manner best suited to your specific needs. It is an easy, informative way to get tuned-up for diving.
Weekend Open Water Course:
Classroom and Pool:
You can complete all the necessary classroom and pool work for the Open Water Course in a single weekend. These sessions prepare you for your Open Water Training Dives. We suggest signing up for the class at least two weeks in advance, in order to have sufficient time to read your book, view the video and answer the Study Guide questions.
Training Dives: During this series of open water dives, you will: demonstrate the skills you’ve already learned in the pool, have an opportunity to polish those skills in a real-life diving environment and explore a dive site under local conditions. These dives can be completed over a single weekend, either in the morning or afternoon. We can also schedule other times to best suit your needs.
Once you have successfully completed your training dives you will be awarded your Open Water certification card. Your Certification card (or C-card) is accepted worldwide and is your adventure passport!
We offer Student Referrals for warm water destinations!
We will assist you in arranging your open water training dives at your choice of destination, if you choose.
As members of the Universal Referral System, we will issue your Certification Card once you return your referral paperwork to us.

For your own comfort and fit, we recommend that you provide your own mask, snorkel and fins. We offer pre-class equipment counseling to ensure that your equipment choices match the type of diving you plan to do.

Lake Michigan Shipwreck Dives:
The diving season is now in session! We’re offering a series of diving opportunities for you to explore Lake Michigan Shipwrecks. For divers with limited or no wreck experience, join us on the dives to the Lumberman and Kate Kelly. Two great wrecks to get your feet wet on! Check it out and join us for Lake Michigan underwater adventure!
Details:
•Everything is weather dependent
•All dives are two tank dives.
•The two tank dives are $90/diver.
•You supply all your own personal dive equipment.
•You will be given a Liability Release to complete.
•We are chartering with LCM Dive Charters, 30 ft boat.
Join us this summer for our monthly trek to Lake Wazee in Black River Falls! Dive Sherwood Forest or dive the fish cribs and interact with the local freshwater fish of Wisconsin. Black River Falls is located approx 3.5 hours from Racine. There is also plenty for the non diver also. Join us for diving or just join us for a great getaway from the day to day stress if every day living!
As a reminder, we are filling both Recreational and Advanced NITROX. This means we can fill from 22% to 100% Oxygen, providing you have the proper certifications. We are filling by partial pressure blending so your cylinders and valves must be oxygen clean.
Wreck diving and exploration is one of the most popular diving activities in the Midwest. There are a large number of wrecks to visit throughout the Great Lakes. This course helps the diver develop the necessary skills and knowledge for safe wreck diving. At the end of this course the diver will understand the planning and organization necessary to execute a wreck dive; including potential problems and hazards associated with wreck diving. This course will also discuss how to locate wrecks and find information about wrecks.
