Company description A PADI 5-Star dive center, Scuba Joe, is a recognized leader in the community for disabled diver training and has been awarded for our commitment with the PADI Accessibility Award.
You`ll get to discover the thrill of scuba or snorkeling in the swimming pool with our certified PADI professionals. As young as 5 year old children can join in the fun. We also have SASY - Surface Air Supplied Youth. We can arrange private dates for your party and you can watch your kids enjoy the incredible world of scuba with certified professionals.
As a PADI Instructor Development Center we offer classes from Beginner through Master Instructor. All classes are held in our on-site comfortable state-of-the-art classrooms. Your pool sessions are held on-site at Scuba Joe`s private pool. The water is crystal clear, warm, and is from 4 feet shallow to 12 feet deep. Classes include: tanks, weights, BCD, regulator, wetsuit and a fun professional PADI instructor and Assistant instructor.
Our PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course will increase your knowledge, skills, and experience in several important areas of diving. The course is designed to be beneficial to brand new divers and experienced divers as well. You`ll have a short classroom session, followed by a FUN pool session, and then five open water dives. The dives will include a navigation dive, a deep dive, and three elective dives which you may choose.
Emergency First Response is an innovative CPR/first aid program. Primary Care (CPR) prepares you to render aid to those with life-threatening emergencies. Secondary Care (first aid) builds upon the lessons of Primary Care and helps you assist those in need when Emergency Medical Services are either delayed or unavailable.
The PADI Rescue Diver course focuses on diving rescue and accident management and prevention. But along the way you will increase your confidence in your own diving and be better able to assist others.
O2 provider will educate you in the use of oxygen rescue kits. Learn about how the system works and when you use it. Be comfortable on your dive trips knowing you can provide oxygen in the unlikely event of an emergency.
During your PADI Equipment Specialist program, you`ll familiarize yourself with the operation and maintenance of your personal equipment. Your instructor might also provide the opportunity to review new or unfamiliar dive equipment. The program is not an equipment repair program but it does give you: Theory, principles and operation of dive equipment Routine recommended care and maintenance procedures Common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures Simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new equipment
The AWARE - Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course teaches divers, snorkelers and nondivers about the vital role of coral reefs in the marine environment. The course also familiarizes participants with the current state of the world`s coral reefs and how they can help.
The PADI Specialty Diver program will train you on specialties including night, deep, navigation, search and recovery, altitude, wreck, drift, boat, dry suit, videographer, equipment, and many others.
Nitrox is one of the most often discussed and written about subjects in diving today. The air we breathe today is a mixture of 21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen. But ENRICHED AIR Nitrox has a greater percentage of oxygen and less nitrogen. Learn about the benefits of diving ``Nitrox``.

You can rely on our leaders to handle difficulties often encountered on exotic trips. They are highly trained diving instructors who are there to help when you want, day or night. You can rely on them as much or as little as you would like. You can have as much, or as little, attention in the water from them as you would like. They can also conduct your certification dives for any level of certification, including many specialties.
We usually have a boat just for our Scuba Joe groups so we are able to greatly influence dive sites chosen. We select sites based on input from our customers. Of course, the usual ``depending on weather`` disclaimers apply but we do our best to give you the best diving possible.
It is just plain fun to ``Go With Scuba Joe.`` You will meet new people and share the wonderful experience of diving with others. Most people imagine group travel as structured activities in which they must participate. Group activities are available if you want them, or you can do things on your own. Our group leaders make reservations at our favorite restaurants each night in Cozumel, Bonaire, and other destinations which do not include full meal packages. You are invited to join them with the group or venture out on your own. They will be happy to give you a list of recommended restaurants or help you make reservations if you would like.
