Company description Welcome to Seaquatics
Seaquatics is Central Michigan`s, Professional Full Service, Scuba and Snorkeling Training and Equipment Facility.
Established in 1975, Seaquatics has served the diving training and equipment needs of our customers for the past 26 years.
Seaquatics was one of the first Michigan Scuba stores to install an elaborate Enriched Air Nitrox System dedicated to the needs of recreational and technical divers. Our Nitrox system is quite unique for Michigan in that we offer pre-blended Nitrox as well as traditional partial pressure blending services.
We offer:
SSI Nitrox Certification
Longer bottom times, less nitrogen uptake and reduced post dive fatigue are but a few of the many benefits of Enriched Air Nitrox diving. It’s not magic but it may seem that way.
SSI Stress and Rescue Class
Improve personal diving skills, recognize and manage stress in yourself and others, learn self and buddy rescue techniques in the SSI Stress and Rescue course.
The course includes D.A.N. Oxygen Provider training; a $85 savings.
DAN Oxygen Provider Course
Administering 100% pure oxygen is the first aid protocol to help a pressure injured Scuba diver or drowning victim.
This is a hands-on course where all participants will learn to properly administer oxygen using a variety of options under various conditions.
Course topics include: Cause, effect, prevention, and oxygen and hyperbaric treatment of dive related injuries and drowning situations.
A Scuba Oxygen Providers Course is required for Seaquatics
advanced and leadership certifications.
NITROX
Over the years we observed the introduction of the single hose regulator, submersible pressure gauge, buoyancy compensator with power inflator, alternate second stage, dive computer and reliable dry suits.
Not unlike past innovations, Enriched Air Nitrox has allowed us to experience the underwater world in a new way.
As a recreational diver, the benefits of EAN are: Longer bottom times and or less residual nitrogen, shorter surface intervals and a significant reduction of post dive fatigue. Some divers report that their gas consumption is reduced and they seem to stay warmer during a dive.
Enriched Air Nitrox is not without it’s down side however. While reducing the amount of nitrogen in the diver’s breathing gas increases bottom time limits; breathing more oxygen exposes the diver to a greater potential risk of oxygen toxicity.
Proper use of Enriched Air Nitrox is somewhat more involved then diving regular air and requires the successful completion of an EAN course to use the gas.

Location description: We service most major brands of Scuba regulators, dry suits, dive computers, S.C.B.A. and S.C.U.B.A. cylinders. Seaquatics was one of the first service centers to install and actively use eddy current technology to help detect cracks in aluminum cylinders.
We work on diving equipment from all over the United States so please call our toll free phone number for more information about service options.
Seaquatics technicians are trained and certified by P.S.I. and major diving equipment manufacturers.
