Discover Scuba - all you need is a swimsuit and a towel. After just a brief class, you are diving in the pool under the supervision of our experienced staff. Try it and see if you like it. Cost is just $15 dollars for this non-certification course.
``Open Water Diver`` is the entry level course for the first step in your scuba journey. Experience the Smokey`s Advantage, and begin diving in the first class!! This PADI course consists of 5 fun and easy training modules. Classes finalize with 4 open water training dives which may be at a local facility, or in the islands. When you`re finished, you`re certified to dive to a recommended maximum depth of 60 feet - and can continue your adventure with even more PADI diving activities..
A review of basic skills for the already certified diver. If you`ve been out of the water for awhile, or just want a brush up your skills, this course will get you ready for your vacation.
Advanced Open water consists of five specialty dives, including night diving, deep diving, search and recovery, and under water navigation. An advanced course allows you to get more experience and training under the supervision of a PADI instructor.
Enriched Air Diver:

The ultimate in overhead environment diving. Learn how to penetrate underwater cavern systems.
Equipment Specialist:
Become familiar with the operation and maintenance of diving equipment, learn how to perform routine care and maintenance and learn about new equipment
Ice Diver:
This course teaches you the special skills necessary for diving under the ice. Learn the special equipment, safety lines, line tending and communications necessary. Experience the superior visibility usually found in colder water.
Emergency First Response:
A must for anyone. Learn PADI CPR, and first aide for many different types of injuries. Make a difference in someone`s life- this is the updated version of the medic first aid class.
Wreck Diver:
Diving meets archaeology - learn how to safely and easily dive shipwrecks and about the social and legal issues surrounding wreck diving.

Dutch Springs Diving and Recreation Facility features a 47 acre freshwater lake which has been set up specifically for SCUBA diving with underwater platforms, submerged vehicles, aircraft, and other sights to see, and a variety of interesting fish life including rainbow trout, palamino trout, largemouth bass, bluegills, carp, and goldfish. For non divers, Dutch Springs is a place for picnicking, boating, swimming, and snorkeling.
