Company description South Beach Divers is a renowned PADI Five Star facility, conveniently located in the heart of Miami’s trendy and vibrant South Beach and within walking distance to all the hotels, restaurants, and tourism enclaves. Since 1995, we have proudly provided an array of services to our patrons, from the highest level of education and instruction to a vast variety of merchandise sales and service to meet your diverse water sports needs. Our energetic and highly experienced staff would be delighted to prepare you to participate in one of life’s most rewarding sports by helping you to gain the necessary knowledge and confidence.
We offer all PADI courses from Junior Open Water to Assistant Instructor, which are led by our staff of Master SCUBA Diver Trainers. In addition, we offer the Dan O2 Provider course and The Emergency First Responder classes. With an emphasis on protecting our environment , we conduct reef clean ups and offer environment awareness classes.
We pride ourselves by carrying only the best name dive equipment. Among our selection is Atomic, Sea-quest, Aqua Lung, Mares, O’neill and too many more to mention. We also offer a variety of daily dive trips, which includes day excursions to Key Largo and half day trips in the Miami area. As a highly reputable facility, we take all precautionary measures to emphasize safety while ensuring all divers have an enjoyable and fun-filled experience. In addition to regular air fills, we offer Nitrox mixes up to 50% from our O2 clean compressor system.
As a result of our eagerness and ability to meet your water sport needs, we have received numerous letters of commendations from students, PADI, and the City of Miami Beach. South Beach Divers is also a proud founder of the Miami Alliance of Dive Operators (MADO), which is a large and growing group of dive centers and boat operators that coordinate activities and organize fund raisers to sink new wrecks and create artificial reefs. Our dive club meets monthly at various Miami Beach locations to keep our members up to date on dive and water sport related news and updates. Each meeting features a guest speaker who is an expert in the related field of diving. Many of our customers are referred to us through word of mouth and have continued to rely on our services over the years and that in turn has made South Beach Divers the place people turn to as experts in the industry.
Our store is open 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm, except Sunday when we close at 5pm. My staff and I look forward to personally meeting you and showing off the awesome diving and snorkeling that Miami and Key Largo offer.
As a PADI 5 Star Facility, we offer all classes and lessons from Discover Scuba through Dive Master. Our instructional team prides themselves as experts and as such are continuously furthering their education in the field of diving. Most are Master Scuba Diver Trainers as well as Emergency First Response Instructors. Our goal is to give you the best education and to ensure your safety all while having fun and meeting new friends.
Dive & Snorkel Trips
Our one day snorkel trips costs $65.00 which includes all rental gear, transportation from our South Beach store to Key Largo and 4 hours snorkeling from a boat in John Pennekamp Marine Sanctuary. Not recommended for children under 4. Children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children 16-18 must be accompanied by a parent/ guardian OR obtain written permission.

DISCOVER SCUBA
Ever wanted to try Scuba diving but not go through the whole course? Then you should try the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program. In just one day you will be scuba diving in the ocean under the instruction of one of our master scuba diver trainers. This is not a certification class but it can count towards the Open Water class.
OPEN WATER SCUBA CLASS
Now is the time to dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world! This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense diving adventure!
If your stay in South Beach is short, we have a 3 day certification course. If you are not in a rush or live nearby, you can join our more relaxed 2 weeks certification program.

REFERRAL PROGRAM
Have you already completed your class and pool work and just need to complete the 4 required dives? Then this class is for you.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER CLASS
The Advanced Open Water Diver program is the perfect opportunity to gain additional experience and skills under the guidance of a PADI professional instructor You know what it is to simply go diving, now find out what else there is to do underwater!

RESCUE DIVER COURSE
The Rescue course provides divers with skills that are essential for Self Rescue and for helping other divers. Reaching this level is recommended for anyone that is serious about diving and keeping yourself and your buddy safe.

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE
Our EFR class teaches you basic first aid and CPR. As an option, we also teach child and infant CPR, choking, and first aid. Starting January 2005 we will also offer AED instruction (Automated External Defibrillator). This class is a pre-requisite to taking the Rescue class.

DIVEMASTER COURSE
Upon completion of this course you will be a PADI Professional Member enabling you to independently teach some PADI programs and assist an instructor on all other classes. This is where you gain all of your diving related knowledge and it will qualify you to take the PADI Instructor Program.

SPECIALTY COURSES
South Beach Divers offers a variety of Specialty Courses including Nitrox, wreck, deep, night, navigation, underwater naturalist, underwater hunter, search and recovery and photography. Coming in March 2005 we will be offering two underwater digital photography classes, beginner and advanced.
Miami has become a ``WRECKREATIONAL`` diving destination that is destined to become another ``Miami Vice`` for visitors and residents alike. With it`s close proximity to the Bahamas and the Gulf Steam, Miami enjoys beautiful diving conditions year round. With water temperatures from 70` to 85` and visibility often better than 75`, it remains a mystery why Miami has not been exploited like so many other dive destinations.
