Company description Tri-State Diving is an MDEA Instructor Development Center offering all levels of training from Open Water through Instructor ratings. We also offer courses in Light Commercial and Dive Medical. For those interested in making a career in diving we can help you get off to a super start. We offer many specialties some of which are Night, Deep, Nitrox, Limited Visibility, Ice, Rescue, Navigational, Underwater Photography, Underwater Videography, Dive First Responder, Oxygen First Aid, Underwater Spearfishing, and Recreational Full Face Mask Training.

To help keep your diving skills up to date we have added some new specialities and improved on some of the others. For those of you living in the Grand Forks, Crookston, and Thief River Falls we will be offering open water classes in your area. So if you live in these areas and you or some of your friends are interested, please give the dive center a call and we will give you more information. Location description: We will again be traveling back to one of our favorite dive resorts on the island of Cozumel . We will be staying at Scuba Club Cozumel . Scuba Club has always been the best bargain for the buck in January. Diving is always good in Cozumel and add the hospitality that you get from Scuba Club makes for a great dive vacation. At this time we are looking at running a week in March also at Scuba Club so get signed up early so you don`t miss a chance to do the trip. Jan . price will be around $1500.00.
We will try again to run a trip to Dominica. We have had so many of our traveling divers that have been to Cozumel that we thought we would try a new destination and after looking at many different possibilities I felt that those of you that have traveled with me would enjoy this new adventure. Dates to be set. From what I have read and heard it will be one of the best trips we have been able to offer. Dominica is blessed with an abundance of both resident and visiting cetaceans - pods of Spinner and Spotted Dolphins, Pilot Whales, Sperm Whales, False Orcas and at least a dozen other species. Whales and Dolphins are sighted so frequently in these waters that Dominica is widely considered to be one of the best areas in the Caribbean for encounters with these fascinating creatures. A whale watching trip is $50.00 per person. Hiking Take time out from the water activities to explore the serene beauty of our rainforest cloaked with hills. The interior of Dominica holds the most intact oceanic rainforest found in the hemisphere. Hike to towering water falls, soak in volcanic hot springs , luxuriate in the gentle embrace of nature. This is life as it was meant to be lived. Castle Comfort Lodge, Dominica `s only dedicated Diving Lodge and Dive Dominica (This in not the Dominican Republic ) provide an unsurpassed service. Your diving day starts with a 20 minute boat ride to Scotts Head, Soufriere Marine Reserve. This bay, nestled in calm waters on the southwest leeward coast with its dramatic walls and steep pinnacles, offers adventure to both the novice and the experienced diver. The prolific sponge life, flying gunards, frogfish, seahorses, and bat fish provide entertainment for all.
