Company description Underwater Dive Center, Inc. is a full service Dive Center. We offer our customers the best equipment on the market, full service and rental department, air fills, instructions, travel. “COMPARE THE DIFFERENCE” in DIVE TRAVEL We have specialized in Dive Travel for the past 30 years. Each one of our trips are escorted by a Professional Instructor, experienced in group travel, that will be on hand (if needed) to help you enjoy your diving experiences and every aspect of your vacation. Specialty courses are available on request for most of our trips, and at a reduced rate. We plan value into our vacations and maximize diving. Our trips are as totally inclusive as possible so you aren`t trapped into paying even higher rates when you get to your destination. Our main concern is your satisfaction before, during, and after you travel with us. We look forward to diving with you this year and in the future!
Imagine being weightless, floating in tranquility, in a world of visual treasures most people can only imagine. Three quarters of the earth is covered in water, and what lies below provides something for every fantasy. Explore the ghostly remains of a mysterious shipwreck, commune with nature in the vast ecosystem of a coral reef, or just get a fish eye view of the world. Scuba diving is both fun and easy to learn. Nearly everyone can do it. No great swimming skills are required, you need only to be comfortable in the water, and willing to learn.
At Underwater, we have a simple philosophy; we are not out to be the fastest, or the cheapest, we are out to be the best. Our Instructors average over ten years of teaching experience. Our courses are sanctioned by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), the largest diver training agency in the world. We are proud of being a PADI FIVE-STAR DIVE CENTER, but that`s not what sets us apart from the rest.
All PADI courses must meet the same standards, so what sets us apart? To begin with, we do not believe that all C-Cards are created equal. Much like there are poor, average, and excellent drivers on the road, all with drivers licenses, scuba divers fall into all these categories as well. While some ``Assembly-Line`` Dive Centers will issue your card as soon as you meet the minimum standards, our instructors work with you to allow you to be comfortable with the required skills. This does not make our course more difficult, only better. There is a difference between meeting a standard once, or having the required skill(s) come naturally. Repetition alone will not train you to be a save and competent diver. We will help you understand diving, not merely ``Act It Out``. We are always very proud when our students return from a trip and tell us how comfortable they were. This is what makes diving safe and enjoyable.

GRAND CAYMAN - Cobalt Coast
Open circuit, and CCR Wall Diving
We will be staying at the Cobalt Coast Resort, Grand Caymans newest ocean front resort, located right on the famous North Wall. Rated by Rodale`s as the No. 1 dive resort in the Caribbean, Cobalt Coast Resort is a small intimate resort offering eighteen luxurious two and three bedroom suits. Relax by the fresh water pool and Jacuzzi, and enjoy fine ocean side dinning at ``Duppies`` Bar & Restaurant - all on premises. We will be diving with Divetech, Grand Caymans premier dive operator. Divetech offers two different sites for shore dives and two custom dive boats. All dives are primarily done on the North Wall ( the best sites ). We will get a special price on Nitrox fills and Divetech supports technical and rebreather divers with full service on stage tanks, all gases, and sorb. This is the perfect time of the year to get out of the cold for a week of world class diving.
FIJI - BEQA ISLAND
Join us in FIJI for the dive vacation of a lifetime. Dive the soft coral capital of the world in a tropical paradise. We will spend ten ( 10 ) nights at the Beqa Lagoon Resort, in custom Fijian Bures, and dive any of the over 100 dive sites in Beqa Lagoon. See Lionfish, Batfish, Glass Shrimp, Clown fish and the indigenous Blue Ribbon Eels, along with ten ( 10 ) times the species of coral as in the Caribbean! After your dives hike to a majestic water fall just a short distance away. Beqa Island is the home of the legendary firewalkers, and a true paradise.
COZUMEL MEXICO
Located one mile south of the downtown Ferry dock in Cozumel, Mexico, Scuba Club Cozumel provides all the services in one convenient resort. Their ocean front position boasts a freshwater swimming pool, restaurant-bar, and a top quality, customized dive boat fleet with professional dive crew. From here you will be diving one of the worlds most renown reef systems, Palancar and Columbia. For your convenience, just a few steps from the boat docks are the dive equipment lockers and fresh water rinsing tanks. All rooms are equipped with A/C, refrigerators, and terraces that overlook the crystal clear ocean and the white sandy beaches. Beyond the beach there is easy access to the ocean which drops off to provide a fascinating wall for shore diving or snorkeling. After your day of diving, relax at the nearby famous, and all-time favorite “Carlos and Charlie’s Bar & Grill”.
