Company description
The Michigan State University SCUBA Club is dedicated to introducing more people to the underwater world through the sport of SCUBA Diving and providing certified divers with opportunities for adventure!
When our Members aren`t diving, you can be sure to find them participating in one of our many other water-related events.
The SCUBA Club is open to certified divers, people who want to become certified, and anyone who loves to have fun!
If you`ve never tried SCUBA diving before, join us for our next Discover SCUBA session.
The MSU SCUBA Club offers SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) certification classes twice a year as well as advanced certifications.
We also coordinate dives around Michigan, or come along on our winter or spring break trips to a tropical destination.
The SCUBA Club plans several water-oriented activities, such as underwater hockey, movies in the pool, and fun social events throughout the semester for members to get to know each other.
All events, including trips, are open to divers and non-divers (A.K.A ``Bubble Watchers``) with a Club Membership.

Underwater Hockey (UWH) is an action-packed, three-dimensional sport played on the bottom of a swimming pool.
Players use snorkeling gear, a special hockey stick, and a protective glove to slide a lead-weighted puck across the bottom of the pool to a goal on the opposite side.
UWH is excellent for building lung capacity while developing maneuverability and teamwork.
We invite club and non-club members to come and play. No experience is necessary. Practice is free to the MSU Community; all equipment will be provided.
