Company description Your excellent dive training experience is our ultimate goal. As a full service dive shop, Aquanuts provides you with top quality repair and service of all major brands of scuba equipment. From annual inspections of tanks, regulators, and BCD`s to the repair of wetsuits, drysuits and other more complex gear. Remember it takes more than proper training for a safe and fun dive trip - it also takes properly maintained equipment.
Aquanuts Scuba offers a full line of state of the art dive gear available for rental. We carry scubapro regulators, cressi sub BCD`s, OS Systems drysuits, and Henderson wetsuits. We also carry 80cf and 63cf air tanks (with unlimited air fills) all ready for a day of fun in the water.
Regularly Scheduled Classes:
*Open Water
The open water class has two different parts, the class / pool portion and the open water outdives. The class and pool portion is 6 - 3 hour classes. The classroom part is generally one hour long, held here at the shop. The pool portion is held at the Concord Raquet Club, and is generally 1-1/2 to 2 hours long. The open water part is 4 dives usually done over one weekend. These dives will be done in the ocean, or in the surrounding lakes. There are three ways to complete your opewater dives. You can do your dives with us, just schedule the for some time in the spring, or for a small additional fee, we will train you in the use of a dry suit and get you certified right away. If a warmer location is in your future, we can fill out referral paper work and you can get certified while on vacation.
*Advanced Open Water
The Advanced Open Water course is all about experience. It`s what we like to call, ``A years worth of experience in five dives``.
In the Advanced Open Water course, there is only one class session and five open water dives. The class room session is a very informal meeting in which you meet your instructor, recieve your home work assignments and schedule the open water dives. The open water dives are completed over three days of diving, the last two dives being done off a chartered dive boat off the coast of New England.
*Rescue Diver
The Rescue Diver Course is the class that will help prepare you for any diving adventure. In the Rescue Diver Course, there are five classroom Sessions and two days of diving. The classroiom portion has a open discussion format, where the students talk with each other about the many different medical and rescue techniqes, with the instructor there to offer guicance. The two days of diving are where the students will put what they learned in the class room to practical use. They will practice many different self rescue, search & recovery and rescue techniques. The Medic First Aid course is offered by Aquanuts for anybody who needs it. It is two nights for classroom training where students will learn basic first aid techniques.

Location description: Important Travel Information for every trip abroad
1. Due to current security measures, you`ll need to allow more time for check-in, security screening and boarding flights. Please check with your airline prior to departure for the latest recommended arrival times and security guidelines. It is also recommended you have a government-issued picture ID available at all times, as well as a printed itinerary if you`re using an electronic ticket.
2. Unfortunately the airlines do not always deliver your luggage on time. The resort will do as much as they can to accommodate for equipment and other items, but please carry in your hand-luggage the following:
1. Extra pair of clothes
2. toothbrush
3. Medication, contact lenses, prescription masks, etc
4. C-card: You can not dive if you do not have that.
3. Make sure your personal information is on all pieces of baggage as well as inside your luggage. If luggage is borrowed, please make sure identification is your own, not that of the person you borrowed it from!
4. U.S. citizens are required to have a valid U.S. passport.
5. Set aside U.S. cash per person for airport departure tax from Roatan. Cash only is accepted. Generally, $50 cash is adequate. Check with the particular consolate as needed.
6. We suggest TRAVEL INSURANCE: please ask your travel advisor about this.
Packing Tips:
1. Due to water conservation concerns, beach towels are not provided by the resort. Please be sure to pack your own beach towel, or consider buying a souvenir beach towel at the resort.
2. Insect repellant is recommended, and is also sold at the resort.
3. Pack light-weight, comfortable clothing. Casual clothing is acceptable throughout the resort.
4. A long-sleeved shirt and long pants are recommended for horseback riding.
5. Hats and sunscreen are recommended.
6. Travelers cheques and major credit cards are accepted at the resort.
7. Aspirin, antihistimine, immodium, anti-itch creams, and any other treatments your physician may prescribe or recommend for foreign travel.
