Company description Aquarius Dive Shop is near some of the finest and beautiful diving on the West Coast. The Bay is known for it`s kelp forests and abundance of sea life, and is a true international dive destination.
Aquarius Dive Shop was established in 1970 and has enjoyed a long-standing reputation for excellent customer service. We offer competitive pricing and carry the premier brands in the dive industry. As a PADI 5-star training facility, our instructional program is taught by experienced staff ready to make your dive education a positive endeavor. A full service repair and rental department, guided tours, and boat diving information will provide you with all your diving needs. Both nitrox and regular air is available at our oil-free fill station.
As Aquarius Dive Shop enters it`s 35th year of serving the central California dive community and divers from the world over, we`d like to thank you for your patronage and interest in our establishment. Aquarius Dive Shop offers many levels of instruction, from beginning Open Water certifications to Assistant Instructor, and both group and private lessons. Aquarius Dive Shop instructors have over 30 years teaching experience combined.
1) Open Water SCUBA
This is your beginning level certification class. If you are new to the diving world, this is where to begin!
2) Private Open Water Instruction
Private Instruction is available if you would like to have a one on one setting with your instructor or if you have time constraints that do not allow for a regular class session.
3) Advanced Open Water
Join this class to solidify and enhance your existing dive skills and increase your confidence in the water!
4) Emergency First Response
CPR, First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator training gives you the confidence to care. This course is a pre-requisite for the Rescue Diver and Divemaster courses.
5) Rescue Diver
Be the best buddy you can be, trained in self rescue and the rescue of others. Enhance your diving awareness for safety!
6) Divemaster
Take your diving knowledge and skills to a more in-depth level.
This is a professional level course enabling one to conduct tours, assist with classes, or act as a safety diver.
7) Assistant Instructor
Get ready for some of the most rewarding work you have ever experienced.
8) Nitrox Diver
Learn how Nitrox can increase your diving options.
9) Specialty Courses
Increase your skills and confidence while mastering specialty areas of diving that are of interest to you. Check out our packages that lead to the Master Scuba Diver certification, the ``Black Belt`` of recreational diving.

One of the most biologically diverse marine areas on earth, this corner of the world in SE Indonesia has it all! With more species of life that you can count, all manner of fish, manta rays, sharks, hard and soft corals, sponges, the underwater topography is also interesting with walls, swim-throughs, pinnacles and reefs. It is also the home of the intriguing Komodo Dragon! Left over from the dinosaurs, this bizarre creature measures up to 12 feet long and is a rare find on the planet
One of the most beautiful of destinations, Bali is also known as both, “The Garden Isle”and,`` The Island of the Gods``. The culture here is very strongly tied with the local people’s belief systems. An interesting mix of Hindu and animist belief, along with ancestor worship, governs the daily life of the Balinese. Every day offerings are made to the temple and to the gods that preside everywhere within a person’s circle of existence. Processions, celebrations and funeral wakes occur on a regular basis, and will be part of our experience.
We will spend 3 nights in the cultural stronghold of Bali in the town of Ubud. This town is famous for its arts, woodcarvings, textiles, and silverworks, as well as for its dance and theatrical performances. Here we will have time to get over jet lag and rest a bit before heading to our dive boat.
These islands are beautiful, volcano-like and verdant green with heavy jungle. The water ranges from75-80+ degrees. The currents can be quite strong and you should be very secure in your diving skills.
Cost is $3,300. Spaces limited with 11 people max
