Company description Fun 2 Dive is a family owned and operated outdoor adventure company that provides Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, and Kayaking. Fun 2 Dive was born 1990 which is owned by Joe and Judy Detrick both US Coast Guard Captains. Joe and Judy have been married for 24 years with 2 children and 11 grandchildren.
Our business is simple, we`re not out to make a million bucks. Our company was based on our interests and how we can get the most out of our life. We are outgoing people, fair and honest. We run our own tours, and have 3 charter boats throughout Florida. We have a few close friends that help us with training and charters.
Captain Joseph Detrick, AKA Capt Joe, Manatee Joe, or Scuba Joe began diving in 1975 and hasn`t stopped! With 30 plus years of diving experience, Capt. Joe is far and above the ``Local Expert`` in this area. His formal training includes NAUI Instructor Trainer, SDI Instructor, TDI Instructor, IANTD Instructor and holds Certifications from PADI, YMCA, NACD and NSS/CDS. Capt Joe is a Rebreather Instructor for the Azimuth, Dragger, and the Military’s C-96. He also has taught the Bio-Med 60 and the Bio-Med 80 units. Capt. Joe can provide you with the best possible training in all of these areas as well as many other courses that he teaches. The NACD has appointed Captain Joe as their Regional Safety Officer for Central Florida.
You would be hard pressed to find a diver with more experience. Spanning the globe Capt. Joe has logged an incredible 11,800 dives ranging from The Grand Canaries Islands off the coast of Africa, to the warmth of the Bahamas and everything in between.
Even more impressive is his time spent with the endangered West Indian Manatee (close to 9,000 hours of water time)! You can`t spend that much time with an animal and not start to think like them! This is where Capt Joe enjoys life.
With exceptional training you should experience exceptional dive gear, our complete line of rental gear is the Best of the Best. For training and rentals we use the Atomic M1 Regulators, Cochran Commander Nitrox Computers, Advid Weight Integration BCD, Super Stretch Wetsuits and now we have placed LP steel tanks into our rental line.
Our Nitrox system is state of the art. As a bonus, we sell Nitrox for what others sell air! Just compare our prices for yourself.

•Best Price on Nitrox Fills in Central Florida. At Fun 2 Dive Scuba, we started the $4.00 Nitrox Fills about 6 years ago, it is still the same price today with NO air card to purchase.
•Always Safe, Small, and Quality Scuba Classes. If your looking for a safe and quality class then you found the right shop. If your looking for cheaper classes with larger groups then you`ll have to look elsewhere. There is a difference between a certification and education.
•Key Largo every other week starting April and going to September.

Location description: Our Scuba Shop is Located Just 20 minutes north of downtown Orlando. Our Manatee Boat is located in Crystal River on the West Coast of Florida. We dive the Spiegel Grove, Dwayne, Bibb, Eagle, Benwood Wrecks and many of the reefs systems such as Molasses, Conch, and Davis Reefs.

•23 years experience with the Manatees, in water. Our client list is very long.
•Full Day Tours ... Which means no Rushing, we start at 6 am and finish at 3:00 or longer. Since we own the company, and we run the boats. We`re not on a time schedule unless you are. Plus we do not carry a watch.
•Small Groups ... It only takes 2 people to make a tour, we will never have more than 6 people plus our crew. NO exceptions.
•Our Tour Operation is conducted with the owners of Fun 2 Dive Manatee Tours. Both Capt Joe and Capt Greg are Professional Educators and Certified guides from NAUI, IANTD,TDI, SDI. We do not employee Non Certified Guides, Part Time or Seasonal Help.
•Professional Educators. Capt. Greg Ph.D. / University Professor, teaching graduate students. Capt. Joe, Back Ground in Marine Science and Physics. Capt Joe has over 9000 contact hours with the Manatees.
•Solar Heated Boat, Our Boat can be fully enclosed during fowl weather or opened to enjoy the out doors. Lots of deck room outside as well.
•In Water Assistance. We have licensed and experienced Snorkeling and Scuba Instructors from several accredited agencies.
•All Inclusive. Nothing to rent, we provide Quality wet suits, mask, fins, snorkel, and booties. Young children will only receive booties (no fins)
•We provide a great time, snacks, seasonal fruit, soft drinks, hot chocolate and sunscreen.
•Hot Showers after your tour, if you desire.
•Manatee Awareness Program. The time that is taken here, will make your manatee experience unforgettable with out putting stress on the animals. We learn about Manatee Evolution, Manatee Habitat, Social Behavior`s, Regulations and Restrictions with Manatees. Basically what were giving you some Manatee Manners!
•Our Manatee tours is prioritized for quality not quantity. That is why we only offer week days tours, no weekends, (to many people), limit the group to 6 people.
•We Set the Standards. ``Quality makes the Difference`` On What manatee tours should be.
•Their Price. Runs between $49.00 to $65.00 p.p. for 2 to 3 hours with 12 to 45 people. And the volume tours go for $20.00 to $30.00 and you`ll get what you paid for. It`s your vacation, you deserve better than crowds.
•Our Price: $85.00 p.p. for Absolute The Best Manatee Tour going. The price is $75.00 if you bring your own gear, you must have a full wet suit. Remember this is a Full Day, All Inclusive with 6 people max.
