Need a little REFRESHER?
If it`s been more than a while since you`ve gone diving, you need a Refresher. You may just need some help with dive tables, some practice with your buoyancy control, or you could need to review everything from assembling gear to adjusting your fins. Whatever you need we have it covered.
1. Attend one of our monthly Scuba Practice Nites at the Cleveland County Family YMCA. There are always a few Instructors and Divemasters there who are happy to answer questions and lend a hand where needed.
2. Participate in a PADI Scuba Tune-Up. You`ll do a little independent reviewing, attend an academic review here at the shop, and then brush up on your skills in a confined or confined-open-water setting. Our PADI Scuba Tune-Up costs $69.99, not including any equipment. .
PADI`s Adventures in Scuba Diving Advanced Open Water Diver program is a natural next step in your scuba education. The AOW course consists of one classroom orientation session followed by 5 open water Adventure Dives. You`ll make a Deep Dive, a Navigation Dive, a Night Dive, and 2 Elective* Adventure dives. (* Altitude, Boat, Computer, DPV, Drysuit, U/W Naturalist, Peak Performance Buoyancy, U/W Photography, U/W Videography, Search & Recovery, or Wreck)
The best thing about the Adventures in Scuba Diving Advanced Open Water Diver program is that each of the Adventure Dives may be credited as the first dive towards the associated Specialty Diver certification. So, for instance, after you make a Wreck Adventure Dive, you`re on the way to earning your Wreck Diver certification! How cool is that?

Become a PADI DIVEMASTER, ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR, or SCUBA INSTRUCTOR. Now`s your chance to take the next step and join the world of diving professionals.
Oklahoma Scuba`s PADI Divemaster course only costs $300, plus materials. You`ve got to have full open water gear, and the determination to excel!
Avoid some of the `trial and error` associated with learning to take pictures underwater. We`ll cover the basics of producing sharp, interesting, well exposed photos with 35mm or digital underwater cameras. The Underwater Photographer course is $105, including the textbook.
Location description: We are located at I-35 & Robinson in Norman in Robinson Crossing Shopping Center (we`re on the NW corner of the I-35 & Robinson intersection, next to Braums).
OW certification dives are a required part of every scuba class. The certification process takes 2 days, and a lot of shops go out for the weekend to Tenkiller or elsewhere for their dives. We usually prefer to make a couple of half-day outings to one of our local (less than a 90 minute drive) lakes like Lake Elmer Thomas or Lake Murray. We pick the one with the better conditions.
We train and do certification dives year-round, not just when it`s comfortable and convenient. When the water gets too cold around here, we make a few weekend long road trips to Santa Rosa NM, or someplace else with warmer water than we have here during the winter. We also give our students the option of making their dives during one of our frequent trips to tropical destinations like Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Curacao, or other caribbean hotspot.
