We hope to help you learn how to MAKE BUBBLES in our fun and easy classes, provide you with the best gear to MAKE BUBBLES with, and take you to our favorite places and MAKE BUBBLES with you. Our over twenty five years of experience in the industry insures you of the highest quality in training, equipment, and dive travel. We want to share our excitement about diving and the beautiful underwater world with you!
We concentrate our efforts on our outstanding entry level Open Water Scuba Certification courses, but we also offer a wide range of advanced training classes.
Learn the basics in an easy and thorough YMCA Open Water scuba course with expert and experienced instructors. We feel strongly that this course will prepare you to safely and competently enjoy MAKING BUBBLES for years to come. Courses offered regularly at four locations in WV and OH.
Open Water course includes nine four hour classroom and pool sessions, four Open Water training dives, scuba gear for use in pool and Open Water sessions, and YMCA Open Water certification upon successful completion of the course.
Divers are always learning. Our Advanced and Specialty courses allow us to share our years of continuing education and diving experience with you. Courses offered regularly.
SLAM - Scuba Lifesaving and Accident Management: The premier dive rescue course. Learn how to prevent dive accidents from happening by being cognizant of the situation. When an accident does happen learn how to assess the situation and decide on the best course of action. Learn rescue techniques which may save a victim. Learn proper evacuation procedures. This is an excellent class to take upon completion of you Open Water training.
Advanced Open Water Course: Continue your dive training by enrolling in our Advanced course. Learn advanced dive techniques by participating in several advanced seminars. Night Diving, Deep Diving, Search & Recovery, Cold Water Diving, Boat Diving, Environment, and Underwater Navigation are required seminars for Advanced certification. Computer Assisted Multi-Level Diving, U/W Photography, and Equipment are additional sessions you might enjoy.
DAN O2 Provider Course: Proper administration of Oxygen is very beneficial in several dive accident scenarios. This course trains the diver and gives him practice in administering Oxygen in the correct way.
U/W Photography Course: All of us like to share the beauty of the underwater world with our non-diving friends and relatives. A great way to do this is through underwater photography. Pictures, slides and video help us show others the environment we enjoy so much. Getting good pictures and video is not easy. Let our experts show you how!
Search and Recovery Course: Learn the tips and tricks of Search and Recovery diving that will help you conduct a successful S&R operation. Great for fire department and rescue personnel.
Cavern Diving Course: Special training is required to explore any overhead environment underwater. This course prepares the diver for exploring the cavern zone of underwater caves safely and enjoyably. This course is a pre-requisite for further Cave Diving training.
Wreck Diving Course: Learn proper wreck diving procedures so you can safely enjoy diving the wrecks at your favorite dive destinations.
Nitrox Diver Course: Special training is required to use special air mixtures which have been proven to increase diver safety. This course prepares the diver to use Nitrox mixtures properly and safely. IANTD and YMCA certifications available!
Scuba WV Inc. has a long track record with some of the finest dive equipment manufacturers in the business. This allows us to provide you with the information you need to choose dive equipment that will best serve your needs. We only carry gear we use ourselves and we are experts in its use, maintenance and servicing.
Location description: Make Bubbles in some of our favorite dive locations with us. Our primary objective is to see to it that you have a great dive vacation. Once again we feel that experience is critical. We have returned to these locations repeatedly because we feel they are the best. We know the people, we know the diving, and we know how to assist you in Making Bubbles in these superb dive locations.
At least two of our experienced instructors always accompanies you on our trips. We are there to assist you with any problems that might arise. All you do is go along and Make Bubbles in the beautiful underwater world. We take care of the details.
FLORIDA TRIPS: Include travel by vehicle, meals, rooms (two per room), and diving.
FLORIDA SPRINGS TBA. Join us in the beautiful Florida Springs for a few days of exciting diving in the crystal clear springs of Northern Florida.
FLORIDA KEYS: Make Bubbles at beautiful Looe Key with Underseas Inc. at Big Pine Key FL. Enjoy the coral reefs and marine life of the best of the Keys.
WEST PALM BEACH: Exciting, high power diving in the Gulf Stream off West Palm Beach FL. Enjoy clear water, super wrecks, coral, and great marine life.
VORTEX SPRINGS: At the conclusion of most of our Open Water classes we go to Vortex Springs to complete the Open Water requirements of our students. Certified divers often go along to enjoy diving the springs.
BONAIRE TRIP: Bonaire is truly a ``Diver’s Paradise``. Our favorite Caribbean dive location. Let us share our over ten years of Bonaire diving experience with you. Join us at Capt. Don’s Habitat for a great week of boat, shore, and night diving. Includes air fare, lodging, breakfasts, unlimited diving, tanks, and weights. We will be celebrating our 20th anniversery at Habitat during this trip!
CAYMAN AGGRESSOR: The dive trip of a lifetime #7! Dive the wonderful reefs of the Cayman Islands. Grand Caymen, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac, the best of the Caymans from the Cayman Aggressor IV. Don`t miss this exciting trip.
