Who we are?
Nancy and Coby Cooper
Nancy and Coby are at SCUBA Works on a daily basis. When you call SCUBA Works main location or come in, you will most likely be talking to one of them.
Coby Cooper - Instructor
Is SCUBA Works` primary Instructor. When Coby was in School he had to have two Physical Education credits for his major. So not wanting to take bowling he enrolled in a SCUBA Diving class. At the end of the semester the class took a trip to West Palm Beach for the certification dives. Well that was all it took. Coby has been hooked on diving ever since. Soon after receiving his Open Water Certification, Coby completed his Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Assistant Instructor Certifications. In 2000 Coby took the next step and completed his NAUI Instructor Certification Course. Prior to opening the doors to SCUBA Works in 2002 Coby also obtained a SSI Dive Control Specialist Instructor Certification.
Nancy Cooper - Sales
Is SCUBA Works` primary sales associate. If it has to do with SCUBA or Snorkeling and you need it, Nancy can get it. Nancy was introduced to diving when she met Coby in October of 2000, and fell in love with both. The two were married in July of 2002, and opened the doors to SCUBA Works 3 months later. Nancy received her NAUI Open Water Diver SCUBA certification in 2001. Almost all of her logged dives have been attained here in sunny Palm Beach, minus a trip to Cozumel shortly after being certified. In 2003, Nancy completed her Advanced Open Water, and has recently completed her First Aid / CPR course in order to instruct our Way Cool Kids Club, SCUBA Rangers. If you have any concerns or comments feel free to give her a call and she will make sure you are taken care of.
Jeff Lucas - Instructor
Jeff Lucas has been diving since he was fourteen, about six years ago – OK, more like thirty years ago. He started diving here in Florida and remembers trading his 1970 motorcycle for a regulator, tank and horse collar, (horse collar?). Jeff first went pro in 1982 when he became a Navy Diver and earned his Dive Master Certification. While in the Navy, he had the opportunity to dive extensively throughout the South Pacific and Indian Ocean as well as California and Mexico. Over the years, he has logged more than 2000 dives. Jeff has been a PADI instructor since 2002 and became an SSI instructor in 2004. His instructional specialties include Wreck, Night, Deep, Boat, Navigation, Search & Recovery, Naturalist, Fish Identification, Oxygen Provider, CPR, First Aid and Enriched Air NITROX. Jeff is the founder and current President of the Jupiter Drift Divers Dive Club. He spends much of his time diving off Jupiter looking for Morays. Jeff and his Dive Master, wife Susan, have raised three Open Water Divers.
Michael Bruno - Advanced Open Water SCUBA Instructor
Michael joined SCUBA Works in 2004 after achieving his SSI DIVECON certification and in May 2004 was certified SSI Open Water Diver Instructor and in October 2004 secured his SSI Advanced Open Water Diver Instructor. Michael is also a Certified Sea Sign Instructor and also the VP of Membership of the Jupiter Drift Divers Club.

We service all major manufactures regulators. All work is done in house by certified technicians. Most manufactures suggest an annual service schedule for all air delivery systems. Here at SCUBA Works we make maintaining this schedule easy for you. No matter what brand of equipment you have, we can service it. So don`t put it off any longer, bring your regulator in and let us make it breath like new again. And don`t forget about that BC power inflator.
Give us a call, we can have most regulators serviced and back to you in about a week.
At SCUBA Works we have the ``safest and most advanced`` completely enclosed SCUBA cylinder fill station in Jupiter. Located at the rear of our store you can drive right up to the fill station, we will unload your tanks fill them and load them back for you. There is no need to carry heavy SCUBA cylinders through the store. We also do partial pressure Nitrox fills from 22% up to 100%.
SCUBA Works Air and Nitrox Fill Cards are available to greatly reduce the cost of fills.

The mission of Scuba Rangers is simple: to involve children in scuba diving and pass along the excitement of water exploration.
Our goal is for thousands and thousands of kids to develop a long-term affinity with the sport of scuba diving by the time they are 12 years old. The intent is that when they become adults, and are making recreational decisions, they will retain the affinity for scuba diving and pursue it as their passion.
With Scuba Rangers, you can scuba dive in a pool with real diving equipment, play games underwater, and other fun stuff!
