*Discover Scuba Diving
Some people still think that it takes a lot of time and training to scuba dive. Dive Today is philosophy that addresses this perception by allowing people to begin diving right away. It’s a simple approach – you lead with the diving experience By allowing people to discover the thrill of breathing underwater for themselves, you overcome obstacles and motivate them to continue on to certification. You can register for one or both of the programs below.
*Discover Scuba (and Bubblemaker) dispels common misconceptions about scuba diving by letting people try it for themselves. The program introduces basic safety information and then allows participants to scuba dive under close supervision in confined water. Discover Scuba encourages participant to continue their dive education by enrolling in a PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course. When skills are introduced during the experience, divers may earn credit toward entry-level certification
*The Bubblemaker Program
This program introduces scuba as an activity that allows kids to experience the underwater world. Under close supervision, participants swim around on scuba in shallow confined water – just playing. Colorful Bubblemaker emblems, decals, towels and toys along with a distinctive recognition certificate ,and card make the experience one to remember.
*Discover Scuba
Introduces potential divers, 10 years of age and older, to breathing underwater. With minimal explanation, new divers begin using scuba equipment and experience a shallow dive, in a pool or pool-like conditions, under supervision. For some, just trying diving is enough, but for others, Discover Scuba also allows them to complete Confined Water Dive One (from the Open Water Diver course) as part of the experience. This allows participants to earn credit toward these courses or toward the Discover Scuba Diving Waterskills Development Session.
The Discover Scuba Diving experience quickly moves people into the open water environment. After straight-forward knowledge and skill development sessions, participants dive in small groups at a local dive site .Discover Scuba Diving also links directly to the Open Water Diver course. Those who have completed the Discover Scuba Diving experience earn credit toward Confined Water Dive One and Open Water Dive One. This is possible because Confined Water Dive One is the same as the Discover Scuba Diving Water Skills Introduction and Development Session, and the Discover Scuba Diving dive now equals Open Water Dive One.

During the week, divers can camp at Ozark Isle. As always with Scuba Sports, plenty of fun and adventure will be offered on this PADI Specialty. The cost includes: boat transportation and the underwater hunter specialty. Diver must provide their own fishing license, spear gun and camping gear (if planning on camping). Cost of the specialty is $100 per person.

*Bonaire, Mexico Trip
One of the greatest trips a diver can make is Bonaire, The diving is said to be the greatest in the world. Having been there, I can say it is one of the greatest places I have ever dove. The visibility is usually 100 - 200 ft. drift diving, an abundance of beautiful fish and coral reefs are all found here. Bonaire is a small island with lots of things besides diving, so non-diving family members have many options for fun topside as well. This is great when only one person is the diver in the family. There is plenty to do, with shopping being one of the most popular non-diving activity. The beaches are clean and peaceful, and perfect for relaxing after diving or shopping. The people are warm and friendly. The food is divine. Getting around the island is easy, with renting a scooter one of the most popular.

*Black Beard Cruise
For those of you interested in a hands on vacation, a Black Beard Cruise is for you. This all inclusive live aboard sailboat designed for diving gives you the opportunity to help sail the ship as well as dive. Sailing from Miami to the Bahamas, you dive in the most rewarding dive sites, selected by the captain. Thus insuring that you visit the pristine uncrowded sites.
Cabins are spacious and clean, with private baths. All amenities you expect from a 5 star resort are right on board. Food and service are 1st class.

Make reservations now as space is limited.
Sailing in October, days to be announced. Cost is $819 per person and does not include air fare. We will have some air fare prices available at the shop.
