Company description Born out of necessity in 1969 to support local Search and Recovery teams associated with Law Enforcement, Topeka Dive Shop has evolved into a World recognized Training Center for all types of Recreational diving and travel.

Topeka Dive Shop Inc. is a subsidiary of Fernald Enterprises Inc.
Topeka Dive Shop Inc. is now owned and operated by Fernald Enterprises Inc. As resident agent and GENERAL MANAGER, Wade does the technical part and Pam is responsible for the travel and comfort of our dive family.
While Wade Fernald has been teaching, over 6,000 recreational divers have been certified or referred from the Topeka Area.
Class has been conducted at Kansas State University, Washburn University, Fort Riley Shawnee County Sheriffs Office, Jefferson County Sheriffs Office, Holton Fire Dept., Topeka Fire Department, YMCA, YWCA, Burlington Kansas for Wolf Creek Nuclear Employees and so many others it is to much to list.
Now, a small staff and our own indoor pool keep the class`s private and personal for the very best, safest training. Our accident count is zero.
Equipment and water comfort are the two most important ingredients to make a safe diver, and Topeka Dive Shop Inc. makes sure that each individual diver have them.

As one of the oldest dive shops in the mid west, Topeka Dive Shop Inc. can cheery pick just the right equipment at the right price for each diver.
We now do mail order, and do have divers
all over the United States we do business with.
Topeka Dive Shop also does Warranty and Non-Warranty repairs on the brands we stock, by certified factory trained technicians.
Scuba and Scba cylinders are both visually tested or can be hydrostatically tested.
You can work your way up to become a Master Diver or Dive Master plus get ready for your Instructor training right here at the Topeka Dive Shop Inc.
The dates for class may be arranged to fit your life style and schedule.
Open water check outs are generally held at BEAVER LAKE ARK. when the water temperature range is above 60 degrees.
Referrals may be given so you can train here, and do the open water experience on your Island Cruise or vacation. Collage Credit can also be earned.

What Can We Do to Save You Money?
All types of Inspections- NDT, MAG PARTICLE, VIDEO, DAM, BRIDGE, IN FLOW, OUT FLOW, PIPE, FLOATING SCREENS. Repairs- Welding burning, cleaning, blasting, pier pilings, wrapping, sealing, water tower, valve replacement, pipe repair. CONSTRUCTION- Pier, Platform, Sub platform, Pipe runs, cable chases. Our divers meet the most strenuous challenges in job performance. All are graduates of accredited Commercial Diving Schools and have on hands experience in all phases of Oil Field Inspections and repair as well as Inland Bridge and Dam Inspections.
Location description: We have guided over 70 trips to Cozumel and know how to dive the reefs to get the best week possible.
4 day 3 night open water trips are also possible to places such as Fla. or Cozumel Mex. as a class or join us on one of our 8 day 7 night trips.
