Equipment Sales
Underseas Scuba Center is an authorized, full-service dealer for most of diving`s top brands. This means, among other things, that when your purchase equipment from us, you can be confident the manufacturer will recognize and honor the warranty. We maintain a healthy inventory of the items divers want and need most, and can obtain many more though special order.
Continuing Diver Education
Underseas Scuba Center offers a wide variety of advanced, leadership and specialty diver training courses through organization such as PADI, DAN and PSI.
Some of these courses, such as Equipment Specialist, DAN Oxygen Provider and Emergency First Response, involve little more than classroom time, and can be completed year round.
Others can be taken throughout the year in conjunction with one of our many instructor-led group trips.
In May. we begin an entire season of continuing education classes taught locally at locations such as Haigh Quarry and Pearl Lake. These allow you to complete the greatest amount of training in the shortest period of time.
Take the Master Scuba Diver Challenge
Unquestionably the highest certification any recreational scuba diver can achieve, the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating recognizes those divers who have:
Earned Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver certifications.
Achieved at least five PADI Specialty Diver ratings.
Logged at least 50 scuba dives.
Underseas Scuba Center is making is easier than ever for you to earn the Master Scuba Diver rating for yourself. We’ve taken our three most popular Specialty Diver courses — Underwater Navigator, Night Diver and Deep Diver — and packaged them together in a single program that will save you both time and money.
This year, PADI will be offering special recognition to those divers who meet the Master Scuba Diver challenge. So will Underseas Scuba Center.
Every diver who achieves the Master Scuba Diver rating through USC will have a special plaque with their name and picture posted in our classroom.
In December, we’ll be hosting a special social gathering to honor these individuals.
As an added incentive, AquaLung is offering a $150 rebate for any PADI Diving Society member who completes three PADI Specialty Diver courses this year, and buys an AquaLung regulator and AquaLung or SeaQuest BC, or an AquaLung reg and Suunto dive computer.

Go Diving: We have great diving close to home, including Lake Michigan wreck dives. Or join us on one of our many group trips to destinations such as Cozumel, Saba and Socorro Island. Or, for the unbelievably intensive liveaboard diving, the Galapagos. We can also arrange travel for individuals, couples and small groups.
Socorro Island Adventure

The Revillagigedo Archipelago (of which Socorro is one island) is famous for very close, very intimate interaction with the friendliest giant mantas in the world. When the diving is hot at Socorro, the manta, shark and big fish sightings are incredible. You will definitely see silky, silver tip, galapagos and white tip reef sharks. You may also see solitary and schooling hammerheads. You will see dolphins topside (but it’s up to the dolphins whether they will interact with you in the water). If you are lucky, may see tiger and dusky sharks as well.
