Company description We were founded in 1984 in Key Largo using the name Divers Outlet. Many of you may have visited our original super store in Key Largo at Mile Marker 106. Since then we have opened 7 additional stores in Florida and our catalog and internet commerce division.

Selection of a speargun should be based on the type of fish you are going hunt and local regulations. The larger the gun, the bigger the fish it will stop. As you step down in size you will have greater maneuverability, but will require a gun with additional bands to get the same effect of a longer gun. Another consideration is pneumatic guns. These can be pumped up while on the surface providing multiple shots without the difficulty of stretching bands.

*Bonaire
In contrast, underwater Bonaire is truly spectacular. The corals are beautiful and healthy and there`s an abundance of fish life, thanks to the foresight of the government who protected this area by designating it a marine park. The Wall, sometimes vertical, sometimes sloping, starts just a few feet from shore. Bonaire is the perfect place for shore diving and most shore dive sites are marked by large yellow rocks with the name of the site stenciled on them.
When visiting, spend time touring the island. You`ll see salt flats, a beautiful ``pink beach``, an old lighthouse, slave huts, Washington National Park, a wildlife preserve and great spot for seeing animal species unique to Bonaire, pink flamingos, beautiful Parroquets, lorets, big blue lizards and three foot iguanas. Lac Bay, on the windward side of the island, has some of the best windsurfing in the world.

Some of its unique attractions include the Cayman Turtle Farm, the world`s only commercial Green Sea Turtle farm, Pedro St. James Historic Site with a restored 19th century plantation great house, the National Museum in George Town and the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park and Gardens.

Curaçao has a warm, sunny climate year round, with an average temperature of about 27°C (in the mid 80s). The annual average rainfall less than 20 inches. In general, cooling trade winds make the days pleasant and temperate, and the evenings very comfortable and enjoyable. Curaçao`s location in the leeward west portion of the southern Caribbean Sea places it outside of the hurricane belt; only three hurricanes have come near the island in the last century. Occasionally, a tropical storm brewing elsewhere in the Caribbean can cause uncharacteristically cloudy weather for a day or two
