Thursday Diving In Carmel

Friendly FRIDAYS In Monterey
These trips are designed for the newly certified diver looking for local boat diving experience or individuals that like more laid-back and shallower dives.
Location description: TYPES OF CHARTERS

REGULAR
Usually 3 dives, in Monterey Bay or Carmel if conditions are good. These will either be listed as Cypress trips or may be chartered by other groups. Depths will usually be in the 45 to 85 foot range. You can reserve a single or multiple spots. Six or more spots qualifies for our wholesale rate.
AFTERNOON CHARTERS
These trips are ideal for divers that are new to diving, new to cold water, or new to cold water boat diving. The dives will be made in Monterey Bay and depths will typically be in the 30 - 60 ft range. Many groups will charter these trips for student certification dives. They usually depart at 2:00 p.m. and return by 5:30 or 6:00 p.m.
ADVANCED
2 or 3 dives, in Monterey Bay or Carmel if conditions are good. These are listed as Advanced. These trips tend to go to more challenging dive sites than our Regular trips. Depths will usually be in the 80 to 100 feet range. You can reserve a single or multiple spots. Six or more spots qualifies for our wholesale rate.
PRIVATE
The whole boat can be chartered by a store or club for their personal use. These are listed by the NAME of the group and you may call them directly if you would like to reserve a spot on their charter. If a group charters the whole boat, they may choose the location, depth and type of diving they like to do.
THURSDAYS
These are 2-dive trips that originate in Point Lobos State Park. We dive wherever the conditions are best in the general Lobos Park area. They are listed under the THURSDAY charters and require the customer to make their own Park Reservations. Depths will usually be in the 75 to 100 foot range.
FRIDAYS
These are introductory trips for divers that are new to diving, new to cold water, or new to cold water boat diving. They are relaxed, shallower dives & include detailed instructions on boat techniques. They are listed under FRIDAYS charters. Depths will usually be in the 45 to 65 foot range.
EXTREME
These are very challenging 3 dive trips. Divers will be pre-qualified for these deep & highly advanced charters. They are listed as EXTREME. The Captain has the final say on who goes based on his knowledge of each diver`s ability. Depths are based on the type of diving the customers are looking for, usually over 100 feet in highly advanced locations.
